As the world awaits the release of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S, SteelSeries is already getting ahead of the game with the release of the Arctis 7P & 7X headsets, designed to work seamlessly with the next-gen consoles. While the 7X is designed to work specifically with Xbox consoles and the 7P with PlayStation consoles, both are still compatible with PC, Android and the Nintendo Switch.

Although Watch Dogs Legions is coming out at the end of October, it's close enough to the launch dates for Xbox Series X / Series S and PS5 to be considered a launch title - to be fair, it is a launch title officially, although not a 'new' launch title. Ubisoft loves to deliver great content for fans, but it's not often we get two mega titles so closely to each other. With Watch Dogs launching on October 29th, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla launching on November 10th, next generation launch week has Ubisoft written all over it.

Wolfenstein, Dishonored and Prey will be getting re-released collections for Xbox Series X and S according to new ratings by the ESRB. Wolfenstein Alt History Collection and Dishonored & Prey: The Arkane Collection have both been rated M for mature by the ratings body. The Wolfenstein set contains four games, although it isn’t specific as to which will be included. Supposedly leaked art for a canceled Superman game has revealed its villain could have been Bizarro. Rocksteady were working on a Superman game after finishing Arkham Knight, but it got canned by Warner Brothers. The studio, which has worked almost exclusively on Batman games since before 2009, is now developing a Suicide Squad game. Xbox Series S hasn’t gone up for pre-order yet in Japan, but Microsoft have already dropped the price. The price has gone from 32,980 yen ($315) to 29,980 yen ($285). The reduction was made this morning, ahead of the company’s TGS show this afternoon. The Series X price has not been changed. Prices do not include sales tax. With the initial wave of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S preorders done and out of the way, fans are wondering what is next...well at least fans who were not able to snag their preorders yesterday. While things in Europe seemed to work fairly well - outside of a few hiccups with some retailers - things in North America were terrible. Sites crashing, carts not loading, and some sites (Amazon) not even listing their preorder consoles until well after the 11:00 AM time that Xbox greenlight the process.

During the rush yesterday, EB Games Australia was active on Twitter, letting consumers know when the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S were sold out. And, like in Europe today, it didn't take long for that to happen. EB Games Australia did promise a second wave of preorders would be available today, with delivery still in 2020.
