Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Pushes Franchise Forward Again

With the last two installments of the Assassin's Creed franchise, Ubisoft has reworked the games entire formula while trying to stay true to what made the original so fantastic - stealthy mechanics, outstanding kills, and more. While Origins and Odyssey were surprisingly similar - small welcome changes did come when we headed to ancient Greece - it appears as if Ubisoft is taking a big leap forward with Valhalla, and I couldn't be more excited.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town Switch Review

Remakes on the Nintendo Switch have become incredibly popular, and the team at Marvelous (Europe and Australia) and XSeed (North America) have worked with the development team to bring this remastered classic to the west. Friends of Mineral Town was LOVED by fans when it was originally released back on the GameBoy Advanced, as it hearkens back to the hay-days of when Harvest Moon was a solid franchise. With a new name, the game is looking for a second lease on ...

July 23rd is the Biggest Day in Xbox History

Big franchises seemed to die on the platform, most notably Fable, and the console just never picked up steam to compete with the PlayStation 4. And all of these critiques comes from a guy who played the majority of games this generation on the ...

Are Updates Required to Keep Interest in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The summer update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons came at just the right time for myself. To date, without time traveling of course, I had collected all the fish, found all the bugs, and purchased a new piece of artwork from Redd every time he was at my island. I had played, replayed, and then played again the fishing and bug tournaments, all in hopes of getting 300 points and that gold trophy. I had breeded and obtained every flower in the game (outside that ...

Graphical Improvements – Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town Preview

When Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town drops at retail next week, people are going to likely have a bit of sticker shock when they see the price. Is that right? Am I almost paying full price for a remake of an old GameBoy Advance title? The answer is yes, but the development team hopes the improvements they've made will be enticing enough and worthy enough of the price tag. One area that has obviously been drastically improved is the graphics!

TONOR TC-777 USB Microphone Review

Thanks to our friends over at Tonor, we had the opportunity to look at the TC-777 USB Microphone, a budget USB mic that can currently be purchased from Tonor directly for under $50, and is a great microphone for anyone starting out in the recording space, whether that be some audio for a music track, or perhaps more appropriately, for a podcast.
