Sony and Microsoft Taking Different Approaches on Next Gen

Twitter could possibly be the most toxic place on the internet for most things, and video games are not immune to that either. The number of fanboys who attempt to validate their video games console preferences grows daily, and it's further proof of how pathetic people can be. Xbox fans bash Sony fans because we haven't received a ton of PS5 details. PS4 fans bash Xbox fans for, well...almost anything and everything. But the different approaches to next gen for ...

TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 – Nintendo Switch Review

Earlier this year, our own Kevin Austin reviewed TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 on the Xbox One. We will be sharing many of his same opinions in this review, with a heavier focus on the Nintendo Switch differences in this title. If you want to read his entire review, feel free to click on the link above! For my own part, I'm not generally big into racing games, especially those that involve a bike. But over my 15 or so hours of play, I found TT Isle of Man ...

The Woes of Recreating your Animal Crossing Island

Anyone that has played Animal Crossing knows the game is meant to be a slow burn. There are only so many bugs and fish to catch each month, only so many rocks to hit each day, only a percentage odds that a unique character will be stopping at your island. For example - Redd was introduced quite a while ago now, and I've had him at my island...twice...in almost a month. It's a slow burn, and we all accept that.

Is the Nintendo Switch That Much Different Than the Nintendo Wii U (Software)?

With E3 and other major gaming conventions being cancelled around the globe, online events have slowly begun rolling out, making big game announcements and showing off new technologies. Last weeks announcement that Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 were being bundled together in a new package highlighted another question that has been bugging me for weeks, if not months - when it comes to available software, is the Nintendo Switch that much different than the ...

KontrolFreek Thumb Grips

I've often visited my local game store to purchase or pickup games, and always bypass what I use to consider the "suckers" section of the store. You know it - the place where they put those thumb grips, silicon sleeves, decals, etc. The area where you spend money on things people don't need. I was a complete skeptic. Thankfully, Kontrol Freek decided to test the skeptic in me, and send along thumb grips for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and while I'm not ...
