Playmobil Review – Water Park with Slides

Last year, the fantastic folks at Playmobil were nice enough to send over their early learning Playmobil sets, 1-2-3 Aqua which my 2.5 year old son absolutely loved. Unlike regular Playmobil, no small pieces were included with these sets that we reviewed. Everything was really big and chunky, easy to grab and easy to play with. He had a blast. Now at 3.5 years old, he's begun to invest more of his time in more complex Playmobil sets, and because of his love for all things water, we knew that the Water Park with Slides set would be the perfect next step in his ...

Pony Farm Country Sets from Playmobil the Perfect Spring Toy Addition

As we move into the Spring and Summer months here in Canada, my wife and I begin looking at toys we can safely store outside - so plastic, preferably - and that my kids will enjoy using on the pavements, walking paths, and patches of lawn. While most indoor toys don't particularly do well outside, we have found one brand that does - Playmobil. The newer Pony Farm Country sets available now at Playmobil.ca are ones we have our eyes on for this outdoor season!

Collecting Playmobil is a Thing – Volkswagen Limited Edition Sets

I have had a ton of people tell me that collecting and displaying Playmobil sets isn't a thing, as it doesn't have the same display quality of other building toys. And for the longest time, I might have believed them. That is until my friends at Playmobil sent over two collectible Volkswagen sets - the Special Edition Volkswagen Beetle and the Special Edition Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus. Both sets are phenomenal pieces, and while kids might enjoy playing them, they are in my opinion a great, collectible piece.

Playmobil 1.2.3 Aqua the Perfect Gift for those Young Kids

Playmobil has always been a popular toy in the Roffel household, and my kids have gone through phases. There was the city phase, where they couldn't get enough of firefighters, doctors, construction workers and more. Then they moved onto the pirate phase, and I was constantly tiptoeing around pirate swords and treasure chests littered across my basement floor. With all of these toys, however, there has been on disconnect - my three year old. While the figures themselves are easy enough to play with, he cannot enjoy the finer pieces included in these sets ...

Star Trek: Resurgence – Is The New Game Actually A Game?

There’s a new Star Trek video game on the block, but you might not have heard of it. Oddly for a franchise that usually does such a good job of letting its dedicated (and notoriously enthusiastic) fans know when there’s something new to purchase, Star Trek: Resurgence was released towards the end of May. It’s available on almost every platform you could conceivably want to play it on, including PC, Xbox and PlayStation, but most fans appear to be finding…

Wiltopia – Anteater Care (721012) Review

If you saw our review before the holidays of the Wiltopia Animal Care Centre, you will remember that we were very excited about this line of Playmobil products. I have always loved animals, and animal toys are almost just as good as the real thing. For a long time now, I've wanted Playmobil to do a Zoo line of toys, with enclosures and everything. Who doesn't want to build a zoo? The Wiltopia sets, however, are the next best thing, and each comes with a few little animals, so our home collection is slowly growing. Let's take a look at the Anteater Care set!
