Although I now risk sounding like a broken record, with another year of PES soccer upon us, wr have yet another year to talk about how the soccer mechanics outshine the competition, but how through game still lacks the modes and licences of "the other guy." It's become a cycle to be sure, as felt PES 17 and PES 18 both outshined FIFA on the field, while struggling off it. While I hoped 19 might be the breakout year for PES, I was unfortunately wrong, but I'm not sure it's Konami's fault.

The great things about the Sound BlasterX G6 from Creative - outside of the amazing plug and play capabilities - is the host of onboard buttons and switches that allows you to quickly alter your sound output with a few quick presses. When not hooked up to your PC - so when using it with the PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch - the ability to easily alter the settings with an associated program is not an option

If you haven't been playing the Elder Scrolls Online, and love the Elder Scrolls universe, there has never been a better time to jump in than now. As the game is already available on Xbox Game Pass - for those playing on Xbox One - it could be had for the low monthly cost of 9.99; those without access to Xbox Game Pass - those playing on PS4 or PC - can still grab the full version of the game with some expansions if they pick up the more recent Morrowond Edition!

Valkyria Chronicles 4 has been out in Japan for some time now, but the game is getting a Western release later this month! Thanks to our good friends at SEGA, we were able to preview the first 30 minutes of the game for you. The Portal Knights team has been very active on social media ever since the game originally launched, and now that things are up and running on every platform imaginable - Steam, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android - the team is busy pumping out content updates to support the ever growing fan base. Although these updates are not coming as fast as fans would like - and I'm sure the Portal Knights development team would like to see certification faster as well - when they do launch, it is with much fanfare and anticipation!

Rebllion is know for creating some over the top gaming mechanics - trust us, there is nothing more satisfying then a headshot in the Sniper Elite series - but has often opted to create serious missions with unique gameplay elements. Enter Strange Brigade, with lots of over the top mechanics; however, the realism of World Wars has been replaced with the craziness of treasure hunting, complete with undead, scarabs, and much more. Human: Fall Flat, a physics based puzzle platformer, received a free online multiplayer update recently. The update is for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch version of the game. Gamescom 2018 is in full swing, and Ubisoft kept up with everyone else yesterday and launched two new trailers for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is due out later this year on October 5th.
