Some Xbox 360 users will be getting the full version of Killer Instinct on Xbox One for free. That means they get the full set of characters at no extra cost.

It's no surprise to anybody with a brain, but Call of Duty: Ghosts appears to have done very well. They've shipped a billion dollars worth of units (some 17 million), some of which will presumably have been snapped up by consumers. That's the problem - we just don't know.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in Spring 2014, and will be available to purchase from £19.99.

Due to backlash from gamers, Ubisoft has decided to drop their controversial Uplay service. The most recent outcry about Ubisoft's version of an online pass is over the Edward's Fleet game mode in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. In order to access the feature, gamers had to enter in the code that came with their new copy of the game, or pay a fee. However, because of the inability for some users to be able to play Edward's Fleet, Ubisoft is now offering it for free. Here's more from their official blog post:

Ubisoft have announced that their not-Assassin's-Creed hacker blockbuster Watch Dogs will be delayed until March 2014. Considering it made up a pretty prolific PlayStation 4 bundle, people are understandably angry and confused. Have they now missed out on their PlayStation 4 console? Fresh from Disney’s D23 Expo in Japan is the latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, the long-awaited sequel set for release sometime in 2014 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The footage is from a Japanese demo, showing off Sora, Donald and Goofy as the fight bad guys in this action RPG. Visually, it looks pretty good, with updated, smooth textures and animations that capture the Disney look-and-feel of the franchise.  It seems to feature the same gameplay that…

Kingdom Hearts 3 had a brief showing earlier this year, but it was hardly enough to make up for the long wait since Kingdom Hearts 2's release in 2004. Don't worry though, we'll have another short glimpse of the game next week, Tetsuya Nomura has revealed.

Indie gaming may have been the hot topic over the last few months, and it seems Sony are trying everything they can to get the most talented developers publishing on their platform. Microsoft have been a little slower to take to the idea, first dismissing the idea of self-publishing, changing their minds and then being rather quiet on exactly what consumers might expect later this year.

Hideo Kojima and Konami have revealed some new Ground Zeroes gameplay at TGS this morning. It shows off what an actual sneaking mission may be like, without any fast forwards or pre-played gameplay. This is as close as we'll get to actually playing the game for what may be some time, so this is definitely one to cherish.

The idea of having dinosaurs in Battlefield 3 was both slightly confusing and endlessly entertaining. In a serious tactical shooter, just why would you want prehistoric creatures running around? Of course, DICE picked up on the chatter and started adding references to the game itself, via DLC.
