Pokken Tournament was a much loved game on the Nintendo Wii U, but not one that many people bought into and spent much time with. Trying to bank on the success of the arcade cabinets in Japan, Nintendo made the decision to bring the game to consoles, with much success in Japan, and moderate success in North America. With a subsequent DX release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo is looking to expand the player base even further, with many new features that will make this a must own for Nintendo Swtich fans, even those skeptical about the title on Wii U!

Jackbox Party is a phenomenally entertaining game on console, and if you haven't had the pleasure of playing any of the packs yet, perhaps you will jump at yet another opportunity on yet another console: the Nintendo Switch. If you are unfamiliar with Jackbox Party, it is a collection of games that you can play with friends, using the console and TV as your 'hub' and your smartphones or tablets as your 'controller.' The games can be wacky at times, but overall, they dish out great helping of pure fun!

I love puzzle games. I think its a great genre. Its especially great when a puzzle game comes along that makes you think and challenges you. The Bridge for Nintendo Switch is such a puzzle game.

The thought of Nintendo handing over it's properties to another company seemed pretty unlikely to ever happen, and fans of the company have often been divided on whether or not Nintendo should lax their stringent rules on the use of their characters and licence them out. The Metroidvania genre is pretty popular these days. A lot of developers want to create a great game in the style of Metroid and Castlevania. Some developers succeed at this while others only create pale imitations. forma.8 for Nintendo Switch is a Metroidvania game for the eshop. When I heard another Sonic game was going to be release, I - along with almost everyone else - was pretty skeptical as things have not been great as of late for the blue blur. If you ever really enjoyed these early 80s and 90s games, you can now get a good number of them in the Namco Museum title which recently released on Nintendo Switch. Overcooked has been available before, but players were tied to their consoles if they wanted to play. With the Special Edition launch on the Nintendo Switch, Overcooked is now available on the go, and it is one of the best, handheld/tabletop Nintendo Switch experiences to date. While the game will pose strong challenges to those playing by themselves, it's still incredibly rewarding to complete each level, and even more rewarding when getting the full three stars! Multiplayer, however, is definitely where this game shines.
