LEGO City Undercover was an excellent release way back on the Wii U, and got its deserved rerelease on all platforms early this year. Not to lose out on that hype, Travelers Tales has officially launched the LEGO City Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions, bringing Chase McCain and a cast of other characters over to the LEGO Dimensions universe. While this obviously isn't a 1-for-1 remake of the full fledged LEGO City Undercover title, it is a wonderful addition to the Dimensions world, and might even entice those who have yet to play the full Chase McCain adventure, ...

After getting all his chores complete and his homework finished, the highlight of my sons evening last night was busting open The Goonies level pack for LEGO Dimensions and putting together the wicked looking minibuilds that come included. While my overall knowledge of The Goonies is fairly minimal, you cannot help but appreciate how much detail goes in to One Eyed Willy's Pirate Ship and the Skeleton Organ. After playing through the Prologue of Battleborn, I was fairly excited for what the game, on a single player level, might be able to offer. As with all online centered titles, it is often hard to create an enjoyable single player experience. I often find that you are damned if you do, and damned if you don't. Gearbox fell into this trap and ends up taking a lot of heat, probably causing the developers to thing, "Was it worth it?"

The Spring Sale runs from now until March 28th and offers over 150 games at a reduced rate of up to 60% off. There were even some games with deals getting a greater percentage off. Xbox Live Gold subscribers can also get an additional 10% off on some titles.

Microsoft announced yesterday that the Xbox Live Games with Gold for February will lead off with an action-RPG and card game called Hand of Fate starting on February 1st for Xbox One. Microsoft will then follow up with Styx: Master of Shadows as you play a stealth goblin on February 16, also on Xbox One.

Microsoft has released the latest list of Xbox 360 backward compatible titles coming out for Xbox One, and this list includes The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings. As part of a backwards compatible promotion some select regions are able to pick up The Witcher 2 for free.
