LEGO Dimensions – LEGO City Fun Pack Review
LEGO City Undercover was an excellent release way back on the Wii U, and got its deserved rerelease on all platforms early this year. Not to lose out on that hype, Travelers Tales has officially launched the LEGO City Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions, bringing Chase McCain and a cast of other characters over to the LEGO Dimensions universe. While this obviously isn't a 1-for-1 remake of the full fledged LEGO City Undercover title, it is a wonderful addition to the Dimensions world, and might even entice those who have yet to play the full Chase McCain adventure, to pick it up and play it.

LEGO Dimensions Wave 8 Unboxing and Build: The Goonies
After getting all his chores complete and his homework finished, the highlight of my sons evening last night was busting open The Goonies level pack for LEGO Dimensions and putting together the wicked looking minibuilds that come included. While my overall knowledge of The Goonies is fairly minimal, you cannot help but appreciate how much detail goes in to One Eyed Willy's Pirate Ship and the Skeleton Organ. LEGO Dimensions Wave 8 Unboxing and LEGO Review: Harry Potter and LEGO City
Warner Bros. Entertainment in Toronto was nice enough to pass along the latest wave of LEGO Dimensions sets for us to unbox and review. Usually, our reviews on the website have been limited to text, but this time around I've done an unboxing and build YouTube video of the Harry Potter and LEGO City Fun Packs. LEGO® Dimensions™ Adds Expansion Packs: Harry Potter, Goonies, LEGO City
When we were putting together are Christmas 2016 buyers guide, we pointed to LEGO Dimensions as the must own game during the holiday season, with a great lineup of expansion packs already available for purchase, and more popular franchises coming in the coming months. This week, LEGO Dimensions and Warner Bros. are delivering on that with retail releases of The Goonies, Harry Potter, and LEGO City.

Why “Officially Licensed” Matters
Right around the time of the Nintendo Switch launch, you will remember the reedit post from dBrand claiming that ALL skins put on a Nintendo Switch product would ruin the Switch itself. Through some testing of our own - as well as some very informative videos from Performance Design Product - it was shown that this wasn't the case all the time. PDP prides themselves on producing officially licenced products from gamers around the world, and if this scenario taught me anything, it was that "Officially Licenced" really does matter.
