More Thoughts From Me #118: Quick Reactions

This is the internet. I’ll pause to let you go ‘duh’ and roll your eyes. …done? Ok, this is the internet and people say stuff. Sometimes they just say them and don’t tell us why they feel that way. Death Road To Canada Postponed in Light of Toronto Attack

Yesterday was a heartbreaking day for the people of Toronto, and across the entire country, as a man used a rented van to drive down a sidewalk, killing 10 people and injuring 15 others. It's hard to talk about video games, or even get excited about video games when stuff like this happens, and one company agrees. UKIYO Publishing, the team behind Death Road to Canada, have opted to postpone their games release on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch in light of the events.

Titan Quest – Xbox One

Titan Quest originally release many years ago in 2006 by THQ, but didn’t see a console release until 2018. While the original title was liked by most reviewers - earning a metacritic score of 77 - it wasn’t known coming into launch how it would fair on the Xbox One and PS4. After many hours with the game ourselves, we can say with confidence that the original feel of the game is alive and well, although some polish could have been used to bring the title into the modern age.
