In Animal Crossing New Leaf, there was a place called the Dream Mansion (aka Dream Suite) where players could go to visit other  towns via the internet. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water - Megaquarium's Freshwater Frenzy DLC is ready to take a serious bite out of your free time! Released in Fall 2018, Megaquarium is a wonderfully delightful sim/management game where the player builds their dream aquarium, while managing their food, staff, water quality and fish compatibility needs. While the base game focuses only on saltwater marine life, fans of river fish will be delighted to hear that freshwater frenzy (unsurprisingly) features an entire array of freshwater fish and habitats!

A few months ago, I chose to back Summer in Mara on the Nintendo Switch, via Indigogo in Canada. The game promised a farming simulation experience that weaved in quests, story, and more. As a huge fan of Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons, I was excited to give this game a shot. While I wouldn't really use those two games to compare to this, I would use on other title - Rune Factory. But does Summer in Mara live up to my pre-backing expectations?
