Cross-gen games are definitely going to be a thing in the first year of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, especially from third party developers. The latest to be added to the list of maybes (along with The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V) is Tomb Raider, which Amazon have listed for the PlayStation 4.

The release date for the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster has been up in the air since it was announced, to the confusion of fans. It was first revealed over two years ago and little was said about it for quite a while. Amazing for what is, effectively, just a re-release of two already completed games.

According to an email from Microsoft, the Zune Marketplace will no longer be available on the Xbox 360 on November 22nd.   The Playstation 4 broke the 1 million units sold mark in 24 hours. Since the system isn’t available in Europe yet (it will be on November 29, Februrary 2014 in Japan), this number only refers to North American retail sales. Remember Myst, the PC game developed by Cyan? It was one of the first games that put CD-ROM gaming on the map. It became a household name when it launched in 1993, and spawned numerous sequels. It was an incredibly difficult adventure game that many feel is still one of the best in the genre, and a game that some developers cite as being a critical influence to their work. It's probably for these reasons that Cyan's new title called Obduction successfully met its 1.1 million dollar Kickstarter goal. In fact, it made 1.3 million.

Masahiro Sakuarai has taken to the Miiverse to announce a brand new stage for Super Smash Brothers, due out for Wii U and 3DS next year. Based on the most critically acclaimed game of all time, Mario Galaxy, this new stage will boast a slightly change in physics designed to make you play in a different way.
