Black Mesa: Source, a fan project that remade the original Half-Life in high-definition, will soon be available to purchase on Steam. The names of all four map packs for Call of Duty: Ghosts have apparently been revealed by Activision on accident. While Playstation 4 users have been able to stream games via Twitch since launch, the Xbox One won’t get the service until 2014. A Florida man was shot dead after a deal gone wrong over a Playstation 4, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The victim, 25-year-old Emmanuel Johnson, met up with another man at around 4:30 p.m. November 17th to haggle over the PS4. The two were originally supposed to meet near the Orlando police headquarters, but one of them decided to change the location at the last minute. When they finally met, things went from bad to worse and a shootout ensued, killing Johnson and wounding the other man. The shooting is still under investigation.

The nominees for Spike VGX awards have been announced, with Grand Theft Auto V receiving the most nominations. Cross-gen games are definitely going to be a thing in the first year of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, especially from third party developers. The latest to be added to the list of maybes (along with The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V) is Tomb Raider, which Amazon have listed for the PlayStation 4.

The release date for the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster has been up in the air since it was announced, to the confusion of fans. It was first revealed over two years ago and little was said about it for quite a while. Amazing for what is, effectively, just a re-release of two already completed games.
