Bioshock Infinite is quickly becoming one of the top rated games this generation and, more, taking its place amongst the Final Fantasy 7s and Ocarina of Times that make up the best games ever. A huge part of that is thanks to its emphasis on the world the player inhabits. Columbia is a meticulously built paradise in the sky, a paradise that it's impossible not to want to explore.

Gravi is a puzzle platformer, not entirely like the well-loved Super Meat Boy. Like Super Meat Boy, it pits your mind and reflexes against sharp objects, dangerous pitfalls and molten lava. Like Super Meat Boy, your deaths are going far outnumber the amount of levels you complete. With 40 levels of mayhem, Gravi is a game that is bound to keep genre fans' attention.

Microsoft have taken a bashing over the last few weeks, partly because of their flat out refusal to discuss their next console and partly because of the actions of Adam Orth, the Microsoft creative director who took to Twitter in defense of an always online console. The top articles on sites like N4G and Reddit have almost consistently housed articles about why Microsoft are doing things wrong. Why, then, is their stock at almost the highest it's been in six months?

There's a fine line when re-releasing a title, between making modern and leaving a kind of older charm. The team behind Age of Empires II HD have decided not to even approach that line. The risk of modernizing one of the greatest RTS games of all time was just too great. Depending on your take on this issue, you'll either applaud them for their conservative re-release or you'll find the game archaic and slow.

After being revealed by Game Informer, Warner Bros. have sent out a press release confirmed Arkham Origins to any members of the press that might have just missed one of the biggest announcements of the year so far. The front cover of May's issue of Game Informer officially reveals the next game in the Batman Arkham series. Arkham Origins has been mentioned in rumours for well over a month now, and the rumours have turned out to be true. The game will take us to before Joker's capture at the beginning of Arkham Asylum, to when Batman was first starting out his crime fighting adventure, and to the first super villains he put down.

Although still under construction, some images of Nintendo's new headquarters have come out. Originally announced in 2011 and with construction beginning last year, it has supposedly cost $204 million dollars to built. If you ever asked yourself where all of that DS/3DS money is going, look no further than the grey pillars of the new official Nintendo HQ.

People who pre-ordered Age of Empires II HD now have access to the game, and although the game manages to be everything the nostalgic remember, that unfortunately means everything. It seems that this is a straight re-release, with a few graphical options added, and that no enhancements have been made whatsoever. Ghostlight have today announced they’re bring Agarest: Generations of War – or Record of Agarest War if you want to go by its non-EU name – to PC. It’s currently in Steam Greenlight and seems to be attracting quite a following from potential purchasers. With enough votes, Agarest will be put up for sale on Steam. The rather charming Papa & Yo, formerly a PlayStation 3 exclusive, is on its way to PC. You can pre-order it off Steam right now for about a tenner (or $15 US), and that includes the fantastic soundtrack as well. It's a great chance for PC gamers to get a look at what I think was one of the more underrated digital releases last year.
