1 – Rain On Your Parade:


If you want the best game on the Switch this year, look no further than Rain On Your Parade. You play as a jerk cloud who just wants to ruin everybody’s day. Its a blast!

2 – Metroid Dread:


A 2D Metroid on the Switch? Nintendo surprised a lot of gamers with Dread’s reveal. And then it came out and blew us all away. Metroid Dread is one of the best Metroid games ever. Whether you’re a fan of the series or you’ve never played a Metroid game before, you should check out Metroid Dread.

#3 – Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury:


Super Mario 3D World was a great game on the Wii U but with the addition of Bowser’s Fury, Nintendo took the game to the next level. Players who never checked out 3D World on the Wii U are in for a double treat.

4 – Citizens Unite: Earth X Space:


The best rpg of 2021? Was it Bravely Default 2? Nope. It was Citizens Unite: Earth X Space! This two-in-one package brings rpg fans lots of gameplay, humor, and fun.

5 – Monster Hunter Stories 2-Wings of Ruin:


A close second for best rpg of the year. Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a turn-based rpg experiance that fans are sure to enjoy. If you like Pokemon, this game has that “gotta catch them all” feel but it brings it own unique flavor and fun to table.

Note: we have not played either of the newest Pokemon games yet, so we do not know where they fall on this list. We’ll let you know as soon as possible what we think of those games.
