WarioWare has always been one of Nintendo’s weirdest games. And the newest game in the series is no different. But is it a good entry in the WarioWare franchise? Here is our review of WarioWare: Get It Together! for the Nintendo Switch.

WarioWare: Get It Together! is the latest game in the WarioWare franchise. In case you are not familiar with the series, here is what you need to know: Wario and his friends take part in a collection of micro-games that the player quickly plays. There is a time limit for each game. You zoom from one game to the next in the blink of eye, moving towards a final boss for each ‘area.’

Like previous games, Get It Together’s micro-games are pretty weird. WarioWare is known for its bizarre micro-games. For example in Get It Together! you’ll find yourself doing everything from getting rid of flies from a toilet to shaving a guy’s armpit to crushing grapes as quickly as you can.

WarioWare is also known for its cool Nintendo themed micro-games too. Players will find that Get It Together! celebrates games like Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Super Mario Land, and more! The Nintendo themed games are the best in this game but almost all of the micro-games are enjoyable and replayable.

Get It Together is different from previous games because players take direct control over Wario and friends. Each characters plays in a different way from the last. Some characters are easy to control, while others are more difficult. Using one character for micro-games can make the games easy, while another character can raise the difficulty. If you ever have too much trouble and get a game over, the game does let you continue on with the help of coins you earn along the way.

Get It Together! has a story mode, however its a very short story. It includes other modes too, like being able to play the micro-games on their own or weekly challenges. The micro-games has tons of replay value too!

And if you have friends and family members, the multiplayer is pretty good. There are a lot of multiplayer options in Get It Together! like playing on the same system or via local wireless. WarioWare: Get It Together! is a game that players who like handheld mode or who have a Nintendo Switch Lite will enjoy. The game can be played on the TV but Get It Together! really is more of a handheld game.

As for its graphics, Get It Together isn’t the most impressive looking Nintendo Switch game you’ll see. Though the animated cutscenes are really good and the micro-games vary from simplistic to the more colorful and cooler looking Nintendo themed games.

As for the sound effects and music, they also vary from simplistic to familiar themes like Mario and Animal Crossing. Long time Nintendo fans will really love the company themed micro-games.

Overall, WarioWare: Get It Together! is a really fun game. If you are looking for a game to play in between the latest Pokémon or Zelda games, than you may want to consider WarioWare: Get It Together! Its weird humor and goofy fun is very charming and a great thing to visit in between more serious fair.

Thanks to Nintendo Canada for providing a digital code for this review. Warioware: Get It Together! is now available on the Nintendo Switch eshop and at retail stores.
