Microsoft has launched official trailer for Gears of War Ultimate Edition, which features the "Mad World" trailer from the original Gears of War title. The Mad World trailer has been reimagined, and includes new in-game footage taken from the new look Gears of War.

The last of CD Projekt Red's free DLC packs are landing now, and one includes the ability to start the game over with all your levels and items carrying over with you.

Microsoft announced at Gamescom last week that they would be rolling out backwards compatibility to all Xbox One owners in November. Right now, the feature is exclusive to Xbox One preview program users. I have been using it for some time now, and for the most part, it works. If you purchased Rare Replay, you will get an idea of how the system will work for Xbox 360 titles.

Although I love all the Kings Quest games, I jumped on the bandwagon late, with Kings Quest V to be precise. Five was outstanding, VI was outstanding, VII was good, but not great, and VIII was a disaster. With that being the last title in the series - and the first without the original development team - it was a pipe dream that we would get another good title.

Assassin's Creed is undoubtedly one of the larger franchises in current video games, and can boast being one of the best AND one of the worst franchises to date. Most people were on board for Assassin's Creed when it first launched, and many praised it for the unique gameplay. Collecting flags - at least at that point - was a minor annoyance at best. Assassin's Creed was heralded by many as the next big thing.

The rising price of AAA video games at Canadian retail locations is making me wonder something: how long can consumers continue to pay the high price of games? Best Buy Canada and Amazon Canada have been offering a bunch of pre-order incentives for games announced at E3 2015. With a 5-10$ discount, these retailers are charging 64.99 - 69.99; that means the regular price on these titles is 74.99 - 79.99. With a 13% sales tax in Ontario, that means a brand new AAA tilte at full cost could set back consumers 90.00, or roughly 1/5 the price of an Xbox One or PS4.

Go ahead and place me in the crowd of folks happy to see backwards compatibility come to the Xbox One. I fully believe it should have been there from the beginning, and now that it is here, my available game library has grown by a few titles. There is just one, general problem: is backwards compatibility merely a great marketing tool for Microsoft going forward, or will people take advantage of this when it launches in December?

After playing through the entire main story line and about 8 hours of extras, it is safe to say that Batman Arkham Knight could possibly be the best Batman game, ever. I’m not comparing this to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City; no, I’m comparing it to all Batman games. This title builds on the positives in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and goes above and beyond to create one of the best open world games I have ever played. This title will receive serious Game of the Year consideration come December, at least here on Games Reviews.

Le Tour De France is very exciting to follow especially in the last legs of the race. To see anyone remotely close to a top ranked position really attacking and pushing themselves in the final hour or minutes of the race. The agony the racers go through especially at the end shows how much they want it. It shows their passion, their determination, their love for biking.
