Friend of the site, Abdallah (Twitter, YouTube) was at PAX South over the last few days, and besides doing a panel, he was all over the floor checking out the Nintendo Switch. I would normally have numerous impressions for PAX (although I'm partial to PAX East because of my location!) I'm (fortunately...unfortunately?) on vacation for the next couple weeks. From all account, the Nintendo Switch event in Toronto was a fantastic experience for those lucky enough to attend. It all kicked off Friday for a press and VIP event with minimal crowds and lots of accsess to some of the biggest games coming to the Nintendo Switch around launch. Indie developers have bought a lot games to the Wii U (and some to the Wii also). And it looks like that won’t change with Nintendo Switch. Last week, we found out that Nintendo would be holding a Fire Emblem Direct. It was thought then that Nintendo would only be showing off the upcoming Fire Emblem Warriors for the Switch. Indie developers with games near completion need to push their products to market for the first few months following the launch of the Nintendo Switch. Your average Switch owner will be very busy with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but how long will that last.
