Our home is just a few short weeks away from being torn apart and opened right up, but until then, Robby the Roomba is zooming around some fairly cramped quarters, most notably in our dinning room. Until today, anytime I sent Robby on a cleaning run in my dinning room, I would lift the chairs up onto the table as I would when I normally vacuumed the room by hand. Today after lunch, I decided to leave the chairs on the floor, and see how Robby navigated this mess.

PlayStation made an announcement today regarding the upcoming launch of the PS5. According to a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, there will be no PS5s available at physical retailers on launch day. Interested gamers will instead have to purchase a console online for delivery or in-store pickup.

LEGO recently announced it's latest building set partnership, and it is one I never thought I would see. Beginning November 1, 2020, LEGO fans can pick up the 123 Sesame Street set, which is part of the LEGO IDEAS collection. For those unaware, LEGO IDEAS is a place for fans to get creative with LEGO ideas, have fans vote on their favourites, and then LEGO sees what they can do to bring it to life.

As the world awaits the release of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S, SteelSeries is already getting ahead of the game with the release of the Arctis 7P & 7X headsets, designed to work seamlessly with the next-gen consoles. While the 7X is designed to work specifically with Xbox consoles and the 7P with PlayStation consoles, both are still compatible with PC, Android and the Nintendo Switch.

While 2020 begins a brand new decade, it also ushers in a new philosophy at Google when it comes to their lineup of Pixel phones. While rumored for most of the year, Google did in fact launch a Google Pixel 5, but did not include an XL model as in previous years. Google also opted to aim for a brand new price point with the Pixel 5, one that detangles them from the high end market and places them more appropriately in that mid-tier level. But with a number of downgrades to the device over the Google Pixel 4 XL, is there a reason to upgrade to the Pixel 5? 

Performance Design Products has been creating fantastic Nintendo Switch controllers and accessories since the day the console launched, and we have been fortunate enough to review many of them here on the website. While we enjoyed the wired Fight Pads featuring iconic Nintendo characters, and the wired Faceoff controllers with swappable face plates, we always came back to one small point on each review - we really wish PDP had a wireless option.

The Alcatel 1B aims to provide the essential smartphone experience at a fraction of the cost. It runs Android 10 Go edition, which is intended to use less RAM than the full operating system - a key requirement when budgeting a smartphone device at $100. While nobody should expect top-tier performance from a budget device, there must conversely exist enough function on these more affordable devices for them to provide any value whatsoever.
