Global technology company OnePlus launched its OnePlus Watch 2 during Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. The OnePlus Watch 2 is a stunning flagship smartwatch, and it utilizes the latest version of Wear OS by Google (Wear OS 4). The device features a unique Dual-Engine Architecture with two chipsets, Wear OS’s hybrid interface, market-leading battery life of up to 100 hours in full Smart Mode, and a premium build and design. The OnePlus Watch 2 represents a big step forward for the smartwatch market. 

As a fan of the Far Cry series I was really excited for the next installment. I personally did not enjoy Far Cry 5 as the rest of the games in the series, but I had a feeling things were going to change. While 2020 begins a brand new decade, it also ushers in a new philosophy at Google when it comes to their lineup of Pixel phones. While rumored for most of the year, Google did in fact launch a Google Pixel 5, but did not include an XL model as in previous years. Google also opted to aim for a brand new price point with the Pixel 5, one that detangles them from the high end market and places them more appropriately in that mid-tier level. But with a number of downgrades to the device over the Google Pixel 4 XL, is there a reason to upgrade to the Pixel 5? 

The Roffel home has been a Google home for long before I began reviewing Google products. We had the Google Home, the Nest Hub, and even a Google Chromecast. We loved all our Google products, except one - that darn Chromecast. No matter how much we tried to work with that product, it never seemed to suit are needs. Without a remote, we either had to provide voice commands to get things to load, or have a cell phone handy. You'd be shocked how many times we went to watch TV without our phones, and when voice commands just wouldn't work how you hoped.

During their 2020 Made by Google, Launch Night In showcase, Google announced the brand new Nest Audio smart speaker, which will be available in just a little while. While Google has released a number of different smart speakers over the years, it looks like new software will make the Nest Audio the premier smart speaker option this holiday season.

Today, Google unveiled their newest devices, tech, and software that will be launching through the end of 2020, and did so in an outstanding, 30 minute showcase. From outlining the brand new 5G phones, to showing up the Nest Audio, there was no shortage of new - albeit not surprising - announcements this afternoon. We have been working through our review of the Google Pixel 4a, and have basically come to the conclusion that it is the best, mid-market cell phone currently available to purchase. From stellar battery life to a fantastic camera, the phone does basically everything you'd want, without the unnecessary processing power and high price tag. But ultimately at GamesReviews, we always end up talking about games. After a month or so of playing various games on the Google Pixel 4a, will it deliver a solid gaming experience?
