Bam Box August 2016 – Crazy!

Bam Box has been one of the better subscription box services, but I’ve always felt – and this has been echoed by others – that at some point, the company was going to get too big, too fast with all their signed prints and exclusive items. They haven’t reached that point yet; this months box did seem like the precursor to something not quite as good. Here is what we thought.     You can get your own BamBox at http://goo.gl/30jeSl! Unfortunately,…

Paper Mario: Color Splash Trailer – The Adventure Unfolds

Paper Mario: Color Splash has looked good from day one in my opinion. I know there have been many naysayers of the game because there were people who didn’t like Sticker Star and they think Color Splash looks like that game. Color Splash shares some similarities to Sticker Star, but in my opinion, it looks like it’ll be a lot better then that 3DS game! And now Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for the game. We have the…

Loot Crate August 2016 – Anti Hero

We have reviewed 4 Loot Crate boxes and 4 Loot Gaming boxes in the past couple months, and generally, we have liked each and every one of them. All the boxes, in our estimation, have been above average for what you pay. That statement is very important. The Anti Hero crate for August 2016 is definitely our least favorite box from Loot Crate, but I would argue it is the worst of the best. There is nothing wrong with this…

Objection!: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice 3DS Demo Impressions

I’m not a Phoenix Wright fan. I’ve tried the demos before and I just didn’t think the games were that good. And yet, I keep downloading the demos. I’m not sure why. I suppose it has to do with my love of adventure/rpg/puzzle games. I keep hoping that I’ll love one of these Phoenix Wright 3DS games. So I downloaded the new Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice demo. What did I think of it? Did I like…

PDP Launches New 3DS Accessories

From our work with PDP over the last few years, we know that people have mixed feelings about the company as a whole. Generally, the feedback we get - whether on headsets or controllers - is positive, with a few negative Nancy's giving their two cents worth. I respect everyone right to an opinion. Whenever we've looked at PDP accessories in the past, however, it has been overwhelming love for the company, and for good reason. This week we got a huge box from the Jake over at PDP filled to the brim with some of the companies newest gear. Watch the video below ...

We Happy Few Preview

We Happy Few from a small developer in Montreal has a project on the go that is definitly bigger than the company itself. And good on them for pushing the limits. I’ve only spent a few hours with We Happy Few since receiving our code from the PR company, but damn it, it’s a pretty good experience. There is nothing shockingly new about the formula for this title; like most ‘survival’ games, you escape something, must get somewhere, and perhaps…

Nintendo’s Release Schedule Revealed

Nintendo put out a release schedule for their upcoming games. However, it should be noted that this list may not be complete. The only games included on the list are games that Nintendo previously has announced. Nintendo could easily announce more games in an upcoming Nintendo Direct. As of now, the games listed below are the ones that we know are coming. I’ll post the lists and my thoughts on some of the games. The schedule that Nintendo released covers…

MX vs ATV Supercross Encore Review

MX vs ATV Supercross originally launched back in 2014 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and received mixed reviews. The game was popular enough, however, for Nordic Games to rerelease it on PS4 and Xbox One under the new title, MX vs ATV Supercross Encore edition. We've had the game for a little over a week now and are ready to share our thoughts.
