Paper Mario: Color Splash Trailer – The Adventure Unfolds

Paper Mario: Color Splash has looked good from day one in my opinion. I know there have been many naysayers of the game because there were people who didn’t like Sticker Star and they think Color Splash looks like that game. Color Splash shares some similarities to Sticker Star, but in my opinion, it looks like it’ll be a lot better then that 3DS game! And now Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for the game. We have the trailer for the game and my thoughts about the new footage below.

Paper Mario: Color Splash is coming to the Wii U on October 7th. This is the first time that Paper Mario has been in HD! And my first thought from this footage and the previous footage is WOW. Color Splash looks like the best Paper Mario game yet. Never has Paper Mario, his friends, and the places he explored looked this good! Plus, well, you should take a look at the footage first before I say more…

Did you watch the trailer? Good! Because I’m going to talk about one of the trailers most jaw dropping moments!

There is a certain part of the trailer where you see what looks like a level from Super Mario Bros 3 and then…the camera turns! The shift in camera reminds me of Super Paper Mario from the Wii where you had a 2D environment that you could change to 3D. I always thought that the Super Paper Mario effect was cool but it looks amazing in Color Splash with the Mario 3 level!

Of course, thats not the only good thing about the trailer. There are so many colorful places for Mario go, cool battles to fight, awesome new powers (cutting out the environment!!) and so many other fun looking things. Paper Mario: Color Splash looks like it’ll be the best Paper Mario game yet!

Will you buy Paper Mario: Color Splash on October 7th? What was your favorite part of this new trailer?
