Loot Crate August 2016 – Anti Hero

We have reviewed 4 Loot Crate boxes and 4 Loot Gaming boxes in the past couple months, and generally, we have liked each and every one of them. All the boxes, in our estimation, have been above average for what you pay. That statement is very important. The Anti Hero crate for August 2016 is definitely our least favorite box from Loot Crate, but I would argue it is the worst of the best. There is nothing wrong with this…

PES 2017 Demo Impressions: Will It Finally Beat FIFA This Year?

There have been a lot of great gaming rivalries over the years. Sonic Vs. Mario. Spyro Vs. Crash Bandicoot. However, it could be argued that no rivalry has been quite as storied as FIFA Vs. PES. Up until a few years ago, it seemed that FIFA had concluded the rivalry with an easy victory. But, in recent times, Konami has come back with a vengeance, sporting a soccer title that aims to take the crown away from EA.

NX Rumors Continue to Mount, Nintendo Will Not React

If anything can be learned from the year of 2016, it is that fan hype can destroy something that, when released, is still very good. The initial thought here would be No Man’s Sky. A quiet development team and so much fan hype ultimately led to mediocre scores for the anticipated titles. I feel the same way right now about Nintendo and the NX. We are only 8 months away from the launch of the Nintendo NX – if Nintendo’s…

More Thoughts From Me #31: The Year of the 3DS

I suppose it may have had a little bit to do with it, but the truth is, that the 3DS has been doing a lot better than the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One for a long time now. The 3DS has more games than either system…

What Could’ve Been: Epic Donald Was In Development/Never Made

I’m a huge fan of Epic Mickey. When the game was released on the Wii, I thought it was one of the coolest Disney games ever. Warren Spector, previously developer on Deus Ex, loves Disney and you can tell just by playing Epic Mickey. He and his company, Junction Point, developed a sequel to Epic Mickey and then Disney shut the developer down. Spector has always talked about how he would have loved to have done a Ducktales game, but…
