After playing through the entire main story line and about 8 hours of extras, it is safe to say that Batman Arkham Knight could possibly be the best Batman game, ever. I’m not comparing this to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City; no, I’m comparing it to all Batman games. This title builds on the positives in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and goes above and beyond to create one of the best open world games I have ever played. This title will receive serious Game of the Year consideration come December, at least here on Games Reviews.

Le Tour De France is very exciting to follow especially in the last legs of the race. To see anyone remotely close to a top ranked position really attacking and pushing themselves in the final hour or minutes of the race. The agony the racers go through especially at the end shows how much they want it. It shows their passion, their determination, their love for biking. Launch week for the Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Edition on Xbox One was disastrous. Server issues trumped all the dialogue surrounding the game, including inability to load, waiting over an hour to get into a game, or having to log out to fix any number of in-game glitches. However, the benefit of holding off on a review until a week or two after launch is really understand what the game is all about.

LEGO Jurassic World combines everything I liked about LEGO video games and largely removes the only thing I really hated: the combat. With the focus on combat gone, Travelers Tales has given more time to environmental destruction, helpful hints for those young LEGO fans, and more puzzles to complete. Oh yes, and dinosaurs.

Over the last two weeks my experiences with Payday 2: Crimewave Edition has been loaded with wait times, frustration and a little bit of fun. There were about twenty heists, maybe more that I was never able to connect to due to server issues on Crime Net. I was still able to complete heists but not as many as I would have liked. This version of Payday 2 comes complete with the original version and all the available DLC which was great to have all in one package. Beach Buggy Racing seems to be another attempt at the legendary Super Mario Kart which has a lot of upside but doesn’t live up to the legendary Mario Kart. For several years there have been a lot of publisher games trying to imitate the success but to no avail. All of the previous Kart type games and Beach Buggy Racing are good in their own way and a good alternative to Mario Kart for each of their respective consoles. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt delivers on almost all of its promises. For a moment, forget that the game doesn't look like the video we saw in 2013. By now, everyone needs to understand the difference between event specific videos and entire games. Despite what some may say, the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt really does look great. Sure, you might be able to find a few blemishes here and there, and outside of the larger cities, I see a lot of NPC character features used frequently. But the game, story, and RPG elements are all on the better side of great!

BADLAND: Game of the Year Edition brings a mobile game to our living rooms with its latest release on Xbox One. If you have ever played the infamous Flappy Bird then you will already be familiar with the basis of BADLAND. It’s a side scrolling physics based game with obstacles in your way. Farming Simulator 15 is not a widely heralded titled. It is definitely not selling as well games landing this summer - most notably the Witcher 3 - but that doesn't mean you should brush it off. If you don't own a PC, the Xbox One / PS4 version of Farming Simulator 2015 is an excellent addition to anyones gaming library.
