Major PS4 Update Coming Soon

Sony have announced that a major PlayStation 4 update is in the works, and that it'll be available to download in the coming weeks. Although they've not yet revealed everything that the update will do, they did give us a sneak peak at some of the new additions that they're bringing to the Share button, hopefully just the tip of the iceberg for what we can expect.

Sony Announces VR Headset: Project Morpheus

Sony took to the stage at GDC this morning to announce the announcement nobody could see coming: a VR headset. Dubbed Project Morpheus, the device has all the bells and whistles you'd expect, and although price has yet to be announced, you ought to start saving now if the list of features is anything to go by. With that said, it'll only be available on the PlayStation 4, so if you don't have Sony's new-gen machine, you'll need to save even more.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Review

Cybernet was a video game focussed TV show here in the UK back when the PS2 launched. When they weren't showing and reshowing the opening of Metal Gear Solid 2, they were showing and reshowing clips from Final Fantasy X. Look at the graphics! Look at the characters! And, oh, they've got voices as well!

Ocarina of Time Completed in Under 19 Minutes

What's the fastest you've ever finished Ocarina of Time? Chances are, it was quite a while. Child Link's sections can be beaten in a few hours, if you know what you're doing and don't get sidetracked, but the Adult Link stuff - and I'm thinking the Water Temple here - can be quite frustrating. Still, Ocarina can be beaten much quicker, if you know what you're doing. In less than 20 minutes, actually. And that includes over three minutes for the opening cut scene.

PS4 Updated to 1.62

The PlayStation 4 has received another big update today, although that's big as in size, not content. The firmware jump to 1.62 weighs in at over 300MBs, a size that would have encompassed a whole game at one point, but now does little but fixes some software issues. Still, it shouldn't be a big problem for the majority of PS4 owners, and the added stability is never a bad thing.

Ground Zeroes Might Sneak to PC

Ground Zeroes has been a controversial but exciting project, and despite some issues people are still excited to see what's in store for Big Boss and team. If you own a Sony or Microsoft console, you'll be able to check it out. If you don't, you won't. It's as simple as that. It won't be coming to Wii U and it won't be coming to PC. Part of that statement might soon end up being incorrect though.

Xbox One Sales Double in UK After Titanfall Release

Titanfall was always going to be a big next-gen game, despite the fact that it's available on PC and Xbox 360 as well, but we definitely didn't see just how big it'd turn out. Titanfall took to the top of the UK charts this week, and Xbox One sales almost doubled. With 96% extra consoles out there, I imagine there's plenty of choice when it comes to multiplayer.

The Last of Us Film Just Won’t Work

The story in The Last of Us wasn't great. Before you jump to the comment section, hungry to avenge your favourite title for that huge slight, let me clarify. The characters and their interactions were unparalleled, the world and its history certainly capable of being built into something that spans prequels, sequels and spin-offs.

SEGA Revives Crazy Taxi on Mobile

Who's ready for some CRAAAAAAAZZZZY money? Are ya ready?! HERE WE GO. Crazy Taxi was a must-have on Dreamcast, and although it didn't age especially gracefully, mostly because other titles pushed the genre so much further, it still managed to get a decent and seemingly popular re-release a couple of years ago. Well, SEGA aren't done with the franchise, and have today announced a brand new Crazy Taxi title for mobile devices.
