The EU PlayStation Plus update this month was fine, right? But the two sports titles and the mixed thoughts on the PS4 entry, Mercenary Kings, mean some are calling it the worst in a while. Japan's update has just been announced and it's different to say the least. If you're a big fan of Sony, you'll probably even be quite jealous.

It's too early to tell just how well Kiether Sutherland matched Big Boss. There wasn't enough conversation in Ground Zeroes to allow the 24 star chance to flex his acting muscle. Bioshock Infinite was fairly unique in that it was entirely self-contained with room for discussion, but with plenty of opportunity for DLC. You can add one more - Pete Hines has defended the subscription for The Elder Scrolls Online by saying that a subscription only fails if you're not getting your money's worth.

A PlayStation-focussed survey from Sony seems to hint at some future features that might end up appearing on the PlayStation 4. Many are options that fans have been asking for, so it's nice to see they're paying attention to reaction. A short teaser video from the official Call of Duty Instagram page shows a distinctly Predator-esque level, with a distinctly invisible threat hunting the player. Although it's not expressly said that Predator will be making an appearance in the next set of DLC maps, which the video is a teaser for, it's pretty obvious. The description even has the quote "If it bleeds..." in it.

There's been a lot of anger over Facebook's purchase of Oculus Rift. Some of it has been valid, some of it has been less valid, but all of it's been loud. Some of those talking have no more knowledge of the situation than can be gleamed from The Social Network, so it's nice to see that someone closer to the scene has had something to say.
