Microsoft quietly launched a Microsoft Studios digital sale this week with some deep discounts on some of the studios best titles. For those with Xbox Live Gold, you will find even more savings on specific titles. While not every title available will peak your interest, I'm sure you will find plenty of items you are willing to drop a few dollars on.

Although rumors have surfaced that EA is giving away Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4 Premium DLC first to only EA Access members, many outlets are reporting - and many consumers are indicating - that this DLC has been free since earlier this week for all Xbox and Playstation owners.

Microsoft announced today a release for the Minecraft Xbox One Edition Favorites Pack. The pack will be first in New Zealand and Australia on June 7th, and to the rest of the world on June 21st. The suggest retail price of this title will be 29.99. The bundles has been available digitally for some time, but now players will be able to pick up a physical copy at retail.

Prices for video games outside of the United States are slowly spinning out of control. Where I live in Canada, with a 13% Federal tax included, new release video games are hitting the 90-100 dollar mark. In the United States, games continue to be sold for 59.99.

Authentic racing games with a tinge of arcadeness are definitely hard to find, but in reality, they are the most fun to play. Depending on how you set the difficulty, it is a game that can appeal to realistic racers and arcadey racers alike. While Dirt Rally tends to lean a bit more towards the authentic experience, it is still a fun game regardless of your skill level. Those unwilling to get in depth probably won’t find something they like…

For those who were waiting for the official announcement that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was actually going to be a thing, wait no more. It was announced today that a remastered edition of the original Modern Warfare title would be coming to consoles alongside the launch of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Unfortunately, as it stands right now, access to this will be limited.

Thank God for companies like Naughty Dog and CD Projekt Red. Without their dedication to the actual consumer, we may have never seen free DLC during this current generation. Uncharted 4 developer Naughty Dog announced recently that all multiplayer DLC maps and add-ons will be free, forever.
