Saints Row 4 banned in Australia

Australians rejoiced back in January when the Classification Board approved the selling of 18+ games. This new rating opened the doors for games such as God Of War: Ascension and Dead Island Riptide to be sold on Australian soil. No longer would games be condemed and deemed inappropriate for even adult gamers. Or at least so we thought.

Battlefield 4 Alpha Specs

You're going to need a beast of a machine if you want to run Battlefield 4 at its highest settings and at 60FPS. Although it scales down quite nicely (allowing decent cards to run it around the 30FPS mark), working towards the best possible Battlefield experience might take a graphics card upgrade.

Apple Paying Parents of “Accidental Purchase” Kids

As somebody who is at least reasonably intelligent, there's a good chance that you wouldn't allow your children access to your credit card in a toy shop. You probably wouldn't give them a thousand dollars to hold either. Apparently, though, if you have over your phone, fail to use the included parental controls and your kid spends way too much on doughnuts, smurf berries and skins, it is the manufacturer of the phone that is at fault.

American McGee Announces OZombie – A Dark Take on The Wizard of Oz

If you were a fan of Alice back in the day, the thought of American McGee's Oz was just unbearable. That dark style mixed with one of the best know fantasy stories ever... God Of War: Redemption poster is fake

User disturbeddude101 over at the Official Playstation Forums posted a convincing photo of what looks like a poster for a new God Of War game entitled God Of War: Redemption for PS4 and Vita. Fellow members on the GOW board were understandably excited at the prospect of a return to Kratos' story on the next-gen console.

Microsoft Clarify Family Sharing, Wasn’t Only Demos

There was a post made on PasteBin by an apparent Microsoft employee, a post that said that Family Sharing was just a glorified way of sharing demos. This would have not only been annoying to those who liked the sound of the feature, but it would have meant that Microsoft were flat out lying about something they were advertising. Not a mistake in an interview sort of lying, but across most of their promotional materials.

Indie Developer sacrifice sales for principles

The small indie team Fullbright announced today they have cancelled their plans to occupy a booth at PAX. The reason behind their cancellation is a noble one at that. Steve Gaynor (lead developer) wrote up a hard-hitting and semi-personal attack at the PAX founders today in an article that can only be described as 'fair enough'. Calling out Penny Arcade founders Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik for their outspoken views on controversial issues such as rape, transgenders and even bribes.
