If you own an Xbox One and have enjoyed Halo in the past, Halo: Master Chief Collection is hands down the best value for your dollar you will find on the console. I think many would have paid nearly the retail price just for Halo 2: Anniversary Edition - which is the definitive version in this bundle - but to get Combat Evolved, Halo 3, and Halo 4 is a huge bonus. Kyrat isn't a real place, but the beauty that Ubisoft brought to this pretend-although-based-on-real environment makes me want to head to the Himalayan Mountains sometime in my life. I'll pass on the conflict however. Ubisoft has released another mega hit with Far Cry 4, giving Xbox and Playstation owners the best open world I've ever had the privilege of exploring. While the story is nothing to write home about, everything surrounding the story makes popping this disc in completely worth it.

What's with the current trend of releasing games and then bragging about how bad they are? As YouTube has become more popular, these "joke" titles have become the focus of thousands who want to be in on the humour. Some of them have had redeeming features, titles worth checking out on their own merits. Others are as bad as their developers claim. Into The Dark Ultimate Trash Edition trips, drunk teenager-like, into the latter category.

Bioshock Infinite was fairly unique in that it was entirely self-contained with room for discussion, but with plenty of opportunity for DLC. The idea of multiple universes isn't a new one, and it always opens itself up to certain issues, but it did mean that Booker and Elizabeth could end up appearing almost anywhere. So, of course, they ended up back in the underwater city of Rapture. It was an easy way of impressing fans, but it's questionable whether that managed to pay off.
