EPOS H3 Hybrid Headset – One Headset to Rule Them All?

Silly Lord of the Rings pun aside in the title, I went in with a bit of skepticism when folks began talking about their review units of this product, saying things like, "It's the only headset you will need" and "It says hybrid for a reason." Really, one headset to replace all others in my collection? Get out of here. Granted, I started a bit late on this review for the H3 - a solid week after it arrived was finally when I had time to unbox this thing, but I was not disappointed.

Razer Hammerhead Gen 2 Wireless Earbuds Review

Razer recently released the second generation of their wireless earbuds, the Razer Hammerhead. These earbuds aim to combine the function of a high-quality audio experience with the gamer chic style that Razer is so well known for. The Hammerhead Gen 2's are priced at a little over half of the Apple AirPods' retail price, so it is clear that they are trying to make a serious play at this market. That is all well and good, but how do they truly fare when put to the test? Let's dive in and take a look!

Barracuda X feat

Razer Barracuda X Headset Review

Considering its manufacturer is best known for flashy, gamer-oriented accessories, Razer's Barracuda X headset is the last thing you might expect, stylistically. Do not be fooled by its modest appearance, however, as this is one headset that boasts serious multi-platform compatibility. The Barracuda X accepts both wired and wireless connections (through its own USB-C dongle) that is compatible with PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Android mobile devices. Very reminiscent of Razer's Opus line, the Barracuda offers a seamless comfort with little to no ...

ROCCAT SYN Pro Air Review

The latest gaming headset from ROCCAT, Turtle Beach's PC accessory brand, represents a serious step forward into the mid-high end headset market with the ROCCAT Syn Pro Air. It seems that they have used the previous 'Elo' series to springboard into the higher-end market. And let me tell you, the Syn Pro Air makes an impressive splash. Aside from a few minor hiccups along the way, our extensive testing found almost nothing that would make us shy away from recommending the latest ROCCAT wireless headset, the Syn Pro Air.

Razer Opus X Feat

Razer Opus X Review

Razer recently released the Razer Opus X headphones, which are a more affordable version of last year's release, Opus. The Opus X headphones hit the market at roughly half the cost of the former model, and are extremely similar with only a couple differences. While not solely targeted towards gamers, the Opus X does feature a low-latency 'Gaming Mode' that ensures there is minimal lag for in-game sounds. Anyone who has tried to use a pair of all-purpose headphones for gaming knows just how big of a deal that really is. At half the price of their predecessor, ...

EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid Review

The Nintendo Switch has often lacked a solid Bluetooth / wireless audio accessory. There have been Bluetooth adapters on the marketplace - some of which we have really liked - but not one where the company legitimately marketed the product as a true Nintendo Switch accessory. Enter the EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid, a high priced headphones product that is looking to not only change how we play on our Nintendo Switch units, but also how we use other USB enabled devices. Let's dive in!

Creative SXFI Theater Headset Review

While I'm apt to always purchase headsets with universal uses - i.e. I can take it with me to work for music, I can play using my Switch, and can have great audio with my Xbox - there are situations were a single headset performs a single feature so well, that I'm fine making the investment in order to have a superior experience. That's where I landed when reviewing the Creative SXFI Theater headset. While it's not as universal as other headsets, when using it via my Xbox One, playing games and watching movies, it was an experience that was a treat to my ears!
