Pokken Tournament DX Review

Pokken Tournament was a much loved game on the Nintendo Wii U, but not one that many people bought into and spent much time with. Trying to bank on the success of the arcade cabinets in Japan, Nintendo made the decision to bring the game to consoles, with much success in Japan, and moderate success in North America. With a subsequent DX release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo is looking to expand the player base even further, with many new features that will make this a must own for Nintendo Swtich fans, even those skeptical about the title on Wii U!

Music to Rayman’s Ears: A Look at the Musical Genius of Rayman Legends Definitive Edition

I love music in video games. I see video games as a visual, audio, and tactile experience. A bad audio experience won’t  kill a game but its always a disappointment to me when the audio isn’t where it should be. Of course, not all games can have a great score. I’d settle for a good score. But wow, isn’t it great when developers go the extra mile and create an amazing audio experience? Rayman Legends Definitive Edition for the Nintendo…

PDP’s Latest Shipment Shows They are About Diversity of Franchises

When the Pixel Pals were first launched by PDP, we noticed a number of people commenting on our social media threads that Performance Design Products was going to cater to the Nintendo audience with these releases, and basically leaving out the 'hardcore' audience. From what we have seen, however, this is far from the truth, and the latest shipments we have received for review speak volumes to that.

Metroid: Samus Returns Review-in-progress Part 2

In part 1 of my Metroid: Samus Returns review-in-progress, I told you about how the game was a modern remake for the Gameboy classic Return of Samus. We found out about some of the game’s new features and how I felt about them. Today, I’ve played a bit more of the game since that article and will tell you how the game continues to stack up against older Metroids. I’ll also take a look at the game’s graphics! Metroid: Samus…

Project Octopath Traveler Demo Impressions

One of the biggest surprises of the recent Nintendo Direct was the announcement of a demo of Project Octopath Traveler for Nintendo Switch. I was surprised, in the first place, that Nintendo and Square were showing off the game. I thought Octopath was a long way off and might not be shown off too much yet. So to get footage and a demo on the same day was a shock and delight. I have to admit I’ve been pretty excited…

More Thoughts From Me #85: Holding Out My ARMS

Ever since I played the ARMS testpunch, I’ve wanted to play more of the game. Adam Roffel, editor-in-chief of GamesReviews.com, knew this and decided to send me a copy of the game. I got it in the mail yesterday and was able to play the game a bit more. Here are some more thoughts on ARMS for Nintendo Switch. I like the motion controls on ARMS a lot but this time around, I played the game with button controls. I’m…

The Wonderful graphics of Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition

Yesterday, I talked about Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition’s gameplay. Today, I want to tell you about the game’s graphics. The first thing I noticed about Rayman Legends, of course, was its graphics. This game looks amazing on both the TV and on the Switch’s screen! Rayman Legends looked great on the Wii U but I think the game looks even better on the Nintendo Switch. Without a doubt, Rayman Legends Definitive Edition absolutely pops on the TV in HD and…

Metroid: Samus Returns Review-in-progress Part 1

I remember playing Metroid: Return of Samus on the Gameboy. I really liked it. My dad liked it too. He got pretty far into the game in fact. Fast forward to 2017. Metroid: Samus Returns is announced and we freak out. We love the franchise and a Return of Samus remake is a very cool thing indeed. Here are my impressions of the game so far! I’m not going to lie: I was really excited to play Metroid: Samus Returns.…

InterCasino App Preview

Many people are probably familiar with playing classic card games like blackjack at home, it seems as though more people are now taking the digital option. And seeing as InterCasino started operations in 1996, it seems as though the company’s newly designed app would be a good starting point to see how the modern casino gaming app compares to the traditional version of the games.

Chicken Wiggle is on sale! Now is the time to buy it for 3DS

I gave Chicken Wiggle on the 3DS a 10 out of 10 in my review. I do not give out 10s lightly. In fact, the only other game I can remember giving a 10 (ever) was Paper Mario: Color Splash. Chicken Wiggle is really that good! And now is the time to buy it if you haven’t. Chicken Wiggle is now on sale via the 3DS eshop! The sale started today (9-14) and will run through September 28. The game’s…
