BlackBerry Motion – How’s It Holding Up?

It's been roughly two months since I began reviewing the BlackBerry Motion, and about a month and a half since we posted our review. I thought I would look back on a number of the categories and topics I initially discussed to see if my opinons have changed? You can find our full review here, but for our current thoughts, continue reading below!

Shadow of the Colossus Review

Shadow of the Colossus is one of those must play experiences, regardless of your platform preference, but trying to get someone to go back to their PS2 - or try to even find a PS2 plus a copy of the game - can be a bit challenging. It truly is one of those titles that you regret was never remade for modern machines; that was until recently, however, when Sony announced that Shadow of the Colossus was getting remade from the ground up for the PS4. I've had the ...

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory Review

The latest release in the Digimon lineup of video game titles is an odd one to say the least, at least if this is the first time you've jumped into a Digimon game, which was the case for me. I generally don't get really excited about Digimon as I prefer other, similar games over this one. However, when I learned that this used a similar battle technique to the Pokémon franchise, I was instantly interested and dove in the second our review copy came. Is Digimon ...

Although no one will be surprised that this has happened, many will be surprised it happen this quickly. As of Nintendo's latest financial release, the Nintendo Switch is sitting just shy of 15 million unit sold, which easily topples the lifetime sales of the Wii U, which currently sits at roughly 13.5 million. For Nintendo, this is fantastic news. For Nintendo fans, this is also fantastic news, as the company is likely to continue rolling out fantastic ...

Railway Empire Performs Better on Xbox Than Expected

When I saw Railway Empire from Kalypso - the same company behind the Tropico series - I knew the game was going to be relatively good. That being said, I always have a few reservations about playing tycoon and simulation style titles on a console, using a controller. More than half the time, the controller just cannot replicate the feel of the mouse and keyboard, and many games in this style fall flat because of pure controls. After only a few hours with ...

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier – Design and Build Quality

Thanks to our good friends at Samsung Canada, I've been giving a great opportunity to review the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier as I work towards some personal fitness goals. With six months to use the device, there will be ample opportunity to review it, provide feedback, and follow up on the experiences I've had to see if they've remained the same, gotten better, or progressively worse. Today, we will look at the design and build quality of the S3 Frontier, and ...

Pokémon Crystal Launches Today on Nintendo eShop

Many people may have forgotten that Nintendo made this announcement late last year, but today, Pokémon Crystal - originally launched on the Gameboy Color in 2000 - is releasing on the Nintendo eShop today! Widely considered one of the best Pokémon games launched to date, the title can be yours for about $15.00, and incredible value in my opinion. Sea of Thieves: Fun, But for How Long?

Ever since RARE launched the Sea of Thieves Alpha a number of months ago, I have been jumping into the game and trying it out during each alpha session. It has been really fun watching the game evolve in front of my eyes, and concepts, themes, and execution of the pirate idea is very well done. With the official Beta launch - and more people sailing the seven seas - it was time to begin judging Sea of Thieves in a more critical light. How does this hold up? How ...
