Assassin’s Creed 4 Multiplayer Preview
When Ubisoft announced in 2010 that its third installment of the Assassin’s Creed series (Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood) would feature a competitive multiplayer element, I was one of the first of a cripplingly cynical bunch to say that it would never work. Fast forward to three years later, as they begin to release information on their plans for the fourth iteration of the game's multiplayer component, and I have long since given up on trying to wash all of this egg off my face, and the humble pie is having a tragic effect on my waistline. This is because it has proven to be rather successful, even attracting players to purchase Assassin’s Creed games for this portion alone.

Exploring Horror in Games
Horror is hard to pull off, for anyone, for everyone, and in any form of medium. It's hard to fill a film audience with dread, hard to write a narrative that'll keep its reader up at night, cringing at every word you read, intensely flipping over every page. That is why we never forget the movies that made us actually scared, or books that made us keep our lights on. The world won’t ever forget just how amazing the first Nightmare at Elm Street was, how brilliant The Shining is, and Edgar Allen Poe, a legend in horror writing.

New Releases this week | Sept 9th – Sept 15th 2013
As the Rockstar behemoth that is GTAV casts its massive shadow over the horizon, new releases cower in fear and stay indoors waiting for the dust to settle before venturing outside. Or at least that's the impression I get from this week's meager list of upcoming titles.

Grand Theft Auto IV – 11 Days Before Launch
The excitement is mounting. It's now less than two weeks (11 days, in fact) until Grand Theft Auto V is released on the world. With new details revealed every day and nothing but positive reaction web-wide, you might be forgiven for thinking this could be one of the biggest games of all time. Any way you look at it, it's kind of a big deal, right?

Are We About to See an Evolution of Multiplayer?
Multiplayer has always been a part of gaming; Pong had support for two players and most consoles released since then have had at least two inputs. The idea of playing together is something that has been around longer video games have. From Minecraft to Just Cause 2, mods to turn PC games from a singular experience into something more are forever being released. The march of technology drives more and more people to play together with MMOs hosting thousands of players on a single server. These multiplayer modes have always been separate from the single player experience and have always needed load screens or lobbies for you to enter. New Releases this week | Sept 2nd – Sept 8th 2013
Bit of an average week for releases. The featured game this week is none other than Diablo III. Will console gamers welcome it with open arms or will it be largely ignored? Only time will tell. Other releases this week includes Mickey Mouse making a comeback, a couple rhythm games, a farmer's dream game and a return to Helghan.

GTAV Fan Theory: Michael is Claude
Fan theories for GTA are a dime a dozen. With such a vast universe portrayed across all GTAs it's inevitable that someone out there in the interweb will eventually come up with a theory that, while may seem absurd on the surface, starts making sense the more you think about it. One such over the top, yet possible theory has surfaced recently pertaining to one of the three protagonists from GTAV. Micheal (GTAV) may actually be Claud Speed from GTAIII.

On July 26, Sony confirmed a film adaption of Gran Turismo is in production. At first glance, the news might raise some eyebrows. Gran Turismo is a realistic racing simulator and contains no story or characters, but will this be an advantage for the people in charge of the production?
