Kirby Star Allies has been available at retail and via the Nintendo eShop for a number of hours now, and many people are likely to be diving into this experience this weekend. We've compiled a few tips from our play through that might help you maximize the fun you'll have with the game. Check them out below, and let us know what things you would suggest!

Our good friend Abdallah has been feverishly working on Kirby Star Allies content for his YouTube channel, and during the wee hours of the morning, his first episode was hitting the tubes! By now, we all know what to expect from the Toy-Con 1 and Toy-Con 2 packs that will hit retail when Nintendo Labo goes live on April 20, but what we are less familiar with is how the Toy-Con Garage will work. Like Mario and Zelda, Kirby is another of the Nintendo franchises that has refused to quit over the past 25 years, and for good reason: despite the 'easy' nature of these games, they continue to appeal to the broader Nintendo fan base, taking the world of platform video games and delivering it to a wider, more accessible audience. Like the Kirby games before it, Star Allies continues the trend of mixing easy gameplay with charming visuals and audio. Does the package work when stuck together? Although no one will be surprised that this has happened, many will be surprised it happen this quickly. As of Nintendo's latest financial release, the Nintendo Switch is sitting just shy of 15 million unit sold, which easily topples the lifetime sales of the Wii U, which currently sits at roughly 13.5 million. For Nintendo, this is fantastic news. For Nintendo fans, this is also fantastic news, as the company is likely to continue rolling out fantastic experiences for it's consumer base!

Snipperclips is easily one of my favorite, budget titles to release on Nintendo Switch to date. The idea of playing with someone else - although much less fun, can also be done solo - to cut each other into shapes to solve puzzles is fantastic, and the only problem with the original release was that there just wasn't enough of it. This week Thursday we will get a full look at what content will be coming to Splatoon 2, but I think after E3, it is safe to say that despite the worries of Nintendo fans, Splatoon 2 will feel like it's own game, rather than just an extension of the original Splatoon. Nintendo has been great keeping franchises alive with new titles, and for the most part, each and every title feels different. As a skeptic myself, I'm not sure why I ever doubted Nintendo.
