Super Mario Odyssey Is the Mario I’ve Wanted

During the days of the Nintendo Wii, people could not get enough of the original Mario Galaxy, prompting Nintendo to do something they've rarely ever done with 3D Mario titles: release a sequel! Unfortunately for me, neither Mario Galaxy or Mario Galaxy 2 hit that sweet spot for me like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine did. In fact, nothing Nintendo has released for Mario has brought me back mentally to the days of the Gamecube and Nintendo 64. Super Mario Odyssey is about to change that in a big way for me, and I cannot wait!

Wayforward, the developers of the Shantae series, will be bringing another game to consoles (and STEAM) soon! The Mummy Demastered has its first trailer! Check out the video, some information about the game, and my impressions below. Here is some more information about the game (via youtube): “A powerful ancient evil has arisen, and the war to save humanity has begun! Disney World and Disney Cruise Line Coverage Plans

Over the next few weeks, you will see a lot of Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line Coverage on GamesReviews. Thanks to the great people at Disney Canada, our original family trip has been supplemented with extra tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and extra perks aboard Disney Cruise Line. While we will cover most of what we do - a lot will be done via Twitter and Instagram - we will try to be selective on the website and cover video game, or electronic entertainment, related things.

LEGO Dimensions: Powerpuff Girls Team Pack

I'll be the first to admit that Powerpuff Girls isn't really up my alley, but when Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment sent over the Powerpuff Girls Team Pack, I was interested enough to put it together and check it out. While I wasn't thrilled about the LEGO builds themselves, the in game content was pretty strong all around, making the Powerpuff Girls Team Pack a good addition to any LEGO Dimensions collection.

LEGO Ninjago: Lightning Jet

With the LEGO Ninjago Movie releasing in theatres today, and the LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game hitting stores shelves, it is important to not forget about the third peg to this stool: the actual LEGO sets that have been available on the market for a few weeks now. Thanks to the good people over at the LEGO Group, we were able to review one of these sets. See what we thought of the Lightning Jet LEGO Set!

Pokken Tournament DX is Perfect for Friends

I like to think I hang out with a nice diverse group of friends , with different likes and dislikes. When throwing a party, trying to appease everyone at once can be a bit daunting, but I found a surprise friend on the Nintendo Switch: Pokken Tournament DX! It seems that regardless of what they like - whether they enjoy fighting titles, or even Pokémon for that matter - people are willing to sit down and match strength with another person in a Pokken match. I think I know why.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Review

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider feels less like a true standalone video game, and more like an extension of Dishonored 2, which was released last year, like with this release, had you exploring the streets and hubs of Karnaca. Despite feeling like an extension, Death of the Outsider is very much its own game, with characters you'll care about and a story that will push you through.

Steamworld Dig 2 Impressions

Steamworld Dig and Steamworld Heist are two of my favorite games on the Nintendo 3DS. Both games are a lot of fun. And the developer of those games, Image & Form, just released another Steamworld game today: Steamworld Dig 2 for the Nintendo Switch! I’ve been playing the game for a couple of days now, thanks to Image & Form, and have some impressions of the game to share with you. How is Steamworld Dig 2 so far? I’ve only…

YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Review

I've never had the pleasure of playing a YS game before, and after playing YS VII: Lacrimosa of Dana I really wish I had. From the first cutscenes to the moment I was able to take control of the games protagonist, Adol. Although the game isn't without a few faults, it is an outstanding experience from start to finish, one I'm really glad I was able to play.

The Escapists 2 is Pure Fun

It's not often you play a game with a few issues that you overlook because the game is just pure, damn fun. That is the Escapists 2 for me, a game that, despite some of its repetitions, is just too much fun NOT to play. While the experience playing solo was pretty entertaining for many hours, playing with friends is really where this game shines.
