One of the very first ‘real’ board games I ever played (and purchased) after Catan was Agricola. I was mesmerized by the pieces, the cards, the boards, and more. It looked like a really great game, and as someone infatuated with farming video games, I thought a farming board game would be a lot of fun. Recently, Asmodee and Lookout Games launched a 15th Anniversary edition of the game in a big box - does it hit like it should? Let’s take a look.

One of the things that has disappointed me the most about LEGO Super Mario is that most of the sets don’t really display all that well. These are LEGO sets meant for playing with, not just displaying. Sure, the various characters do look great on the shelf, but in general, entire sets do not. I do believe that the Bowsers Air Ship set probably would display well, but not many others. Peach’s Castle, however, displays beautifully (not on a 12-inch shelf mind you), and is fun to build too! Over the past few weeks, we have been playing the outstanding kids game, The Quest Kids . This game is aimed at kids, but is fun for adults to play as well. We’ve played nearly half a dozen games of it so far, and I decided it would be unique to interview my son about the game, and see what he had to say. The toys that are being released alongside the Super Mario Bros. Movie are insane, and fans cannot get enough. For a long time, collecting the figures from Jakks was for two specific groups of people - the massive number of kids who wanted to play with the toys, and the few adults looking to collect.
