A recent interview with the Vice President of Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed some new information about the future of the PS4. Obviously, with the brand new release of the PS5, gamers are going to begin transitioning over to next-gen hardware. PlayStation made an announcement today regarding the upcoming launch of the PS5. According to a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, there will be no PS5s available at physical retailers on launch day. Interested gamers will instead have to purchase a console online for delivery or in-store pickup.
