The Legend of Kusakari Is A Game Where You Cut Grass And Its Coming West

One of the first things you ever do in a Legend of Zelda game is cut the grass to see if you can get a rupee or two. I don’t think anyone ever thought that cutting grass could be made into a full game though. But thats what happened with The Legend of Kusakari for 3DS! Cutting grass as a game objective?! Man, that sounds like a Japanese only game. If you thought that, then you’re wrong. Game developer/publisher Nnooo…

During E3, I played a demo of Lightwood Game’s next word game: Word Logic by POWGI. I liked the demo a lot. It was a hard game, but it was also a very good one. I previewed the game during E3 and…

3Souls Episode 1: Nelesa Review

I’m always disappointed when a Wii U game doesn’t use the gamepad much. We’ve seen a lot of indie games and even some Nintendo games, that only use Off-TV play and nothing else. When a game comes along that has unique and fun gameplay that uses the gamepad, such as Affordable Space Adventures, I’m always happy and hoping that we’ll see even more games like it.

More Thoughts From Me #28: Guarding Star Fox

I remember seeing Star Fox Guard back when it was just an untitled camera switching game at E3. I didn’t think it was very impressive and wasn’t sure if it was even really a game. Flash forward to the Star Fox Guard reveal from Nintendo. I still wasn’t very impressed by the game. There didn’t look to be much to it. But I couldn’t help wanting to try the game sooner or later. Nintendo gave us a demo of Star…

Tumblestone Review

Sometimes, a puzzle game will come along that you’ll just love and keep playing forever. Other times, you’ll play a puzzle game once or twice and move on. Tumblestone is the newest puzzle game to come to the Wii U eshop. Is it a game I’ll play forever or is it a game that I’ll soon forget? Most of the time, puzzle games don’t have a story mode and when they do, the story is usually uninteresting. Tumblestone is a…

Mega Man Invades the Nintendo Badge Arcade

In the Nintendo Badge Arcade for 3DS, you grab badges via a crane game and decorate your 3DS menu with them. There are a few free plays to be had, but the game really wants you to buy “plays” in order to get the badges. I’ve never bought a “play”. The free plays have gotten me a lot of badges! This week, there are some new badges that’ll definitly tempt some people into paying for plays. Mega Man badges are…
