We recently received a review code for Dying Light. Yes, we understand the game came out almost a year ago, but we are attempting to get through the main story in order to review some upcoming DLC. I'm always skeptical of Free-to-Start and Free-to-Play games, and I should be. Some games really suck you in - Simpson's Tapped Out for myself - and make you really want to spend money. And at times, it is easy to justify a few dollars especially if you are very committed. Nintendo has done an excellent job lately with their free-to-play model, and I hope it continues. If you have played Just Cause 3 already you know the story is nothing to write home about. In fact, the game appears to know where the real fun lies, and therefore, requires you to do a lot of the side missions in order to unlock more parts of the story. The question should be: how can a game like Just Cause 3 - which has been receiving 80+ from most outlets, our included - get so much praise despite a huge story problem?

Last year was the debut of the Video Game Awards, and it is back again this year. And to be honest, I didn't hate it. There was serious contention last year for specific awards - although like this year, the Golden Joysticks really sheds light on favorites - and that made for an entertaining night. I received a copy of Just Cause 3 a few days ahead of its December 1st launch and realized one thing really quickly: the story in this game is pretty bad, but that does not matter in the slightest. I have done a number of shorter articles for Games Reviews on Fallout, and those will be combined here for a full scored review of the game. Fallout fans will find more to love with Fallout 4. It is not a huge advancement over Fallout 3, and the graphics are not what you would expect from a highly touted RPG. That being said, we still had lots of fun with Fallout here in our offices, and could easily recommend it to any RPG fan.
