Minecraft At E3 2017

Microsoft has broken the console barrier by bringing Minecraft multiplayer gaming to everyone, no matter the platform. That’s right, if you are on Xbox One and your friend is on Nintendo Switch, you can play together. This is actually really big for the gaming community, as this type of console interaction has always been desired, but rarely given. Because of different interests, consoles rarely interact with each other. Yes, there is a healthy respect ...

Assassins Creed: Origins

Egypt has always been an intriguing environment, so I’m glad to see one of my favourite franchises heading to the deserts in Africa. From the gameplay, it looks like we will be treated to a diverse open world with plenty to explore. But the real question with this series is always this: will Ubisoft be able to move away from the traditional game play to create a unique, Assassins Creed experience? As stated by Ubisoft during the Xbox Briefing, Egypt…

Xbox One X

Microsoft has officially unveiled the latest in Xbox technology: the Xbox One X! More powerful than any other console, better looking than any other console, and yes, the smallest Xbox system to date. Microsoft took a lot of heat when the PS4 Pro launched earlier this year, and with a lack of exclusive titles for the Xbox family in 2017, many began to question what Microsoft was doing. Now we know, and I wouldn’t expect Microsoft to be quiet for…

LEGO Robo Explorer Review

The 3-in-1 LEGO Creator sets are some of my favorite sets the LEGO Group has ever released. The ability to put 3 sets in one box was a wonderful new addition to the LEGO line up when it was introduced a number of years ago. These sets offer variety, many rebuild options, and hours of play, and are generally priced very well. Recently, we took a look at the LEGO Robo Explorer set, and thoroughly enjoyed the build, the playability, and the contents included. Read ...

Why Collecting LEGO Minifigures is Addicting

If you have a big passion for LEGO, you are more than likely familiar with the (very expensive) LEGO Minifigure collections. Since LEGO began launching these blind bag collect them all series, over 100 minifigures have been released, and hardcore collectors are nabbing them up quickly. In some situations, finding these figures can be incredibly difficult, which can be both frustrating and somewhat exhilarating, all at the same time.

ARMS Review

If you haven't heard or played ARMS yet on the Nintendo Switch, there is a good chance you've been living under a rock. Although initially fans were unsure what to think, recent Testpunch events have changed the opinion of many, making ARMS one of the most intriguing releases this year. If ARMS was simply a 1v1 fighting game, perhaps it wouldn't have much mainstream success, but with the addition of many new modes and features, ARMS is poised to be one of ...

Cars: Driven to Win Launching 06/13

My excitement for Pixar games is pretty none-existent, but my seven year old son goes bananas for these types of games. Just recently, I was showing him the teaser trailer for Cars: Driven to Win and decided to capture a few of his observations in a short article as we move towards launch day next Tuesday, June 13th.

Troy Baker Reprises Role as Talion in Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Troy Baker is becoming - if he not already is - a legend in the gaming industry for performing a number of key roles in big budget, AAA video games. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that he will be reprising his role as Talion in the new Middle Earth title, Shadow of War. If you aren't familiar with Troy Baker you should be, and having him reprise his role again is only another sign that Shadow of War will be equally as good, if not better, than its predecessor.

Pokémon Nintendo Direct – 06/06/2017

Today was the much anticipated Pokémon Direct that was to outline games coming to the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. While there was much talk about what we would potentially see - a rerelease for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Pokémon Stars on Nintendo Switch - what we got was, well, slightly disappointing for some, and pretty exciting for others!

Farming Simulator 18 Review

Farming Simulator games have never been that strong on handhelds, and when I heard that Farming Simulator 18 was coming to the 3DS and PS Vita, I wasn't the least big excited. If your read our review of Farming Simulator 17, you'll know that we absolutely loved that game, stating that it combined all the elements of past Farming Simulator games that were well received, and left behind the problematic issues. When loading up Farming Simulator 18, I was hoping ...
