Legna Tactica Battles Its Way to the 3DS Eshop Today
Kecmo has brought a lot of rpgs to the Wii U and 3DS eshop. All of these games have been turn based rpgs though. Legna Tactica, just released today for the 3DS eshop, is a bit different though. Legna is a strategy rpg!
I love strategy rpgs. I may even love strategy rpgs as much as I love turn-based rpgs. The jury is still out on that one. What I can tell you is that I really love how Legna Tactica looks!
Graphics wise, Legna Tactica reminds me a Disgaea game with a dash of Final Fantasy Tactics. The characters in Legna are taller than Final Fantasy but the levels remind me a great deal of those games. The visual look of the characters are pretty similar to what we’ve seen in previous Kecmo games though.
As for the gameplay, Legna looks to have the traditional strategy rpg gameplay of Tactics and Disgaea. You also get missions via the pub like you did with Tactics Advance! Most impressive to me, however, is the look of the huge skill trees that you have access to. I’m a big fan of skill trees and this one looks great.
I have not played Legna Tactica yet. I hope to get my hands on the game soon. All of my impressions here are based on the recent 3DS eshop trailer. I will write a hands-on preview of this game as soon as I can. You don’t have to wait for that if you don’t want to though. Legna Tactica is currently available on the 3DS eshop.
