Pokemon Trading Card Game

It's another month, and yet another Pokemon expansion, and thankfully this one is just as good as the last. While there are new cards in the mix, it's great to see that Unbroken Bonds builds off the last expansion pack that introduced Tag Team-GX cards. With more of those to collect, and over 2 dozen full art cards, this will be an expansion you don't want to miss!

When The Pokémon Company releases themed decks for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, they never expect them to be someone's go-to deck for competitive play, but rather a great way to introduce new players to the experience. That is why each themed deck comes with hit tokens, status tokens, a playmate to help layout the gaming area, and a coin for flipping heads and tails. Each deck also comes complete with the sixty required cards to play a game, and for the most part, these are fairly balanced for to create a competitive experience.

Last week while away on family vacation, I was able to dive into the themed decks for the latest Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion, Forbidden Light. Although neither of decks incorporate the Prism Star cards, both include a number of cards that will be great for building your own custom decks. Are these decks, on their own, worth playing with? With the launch of the Forbidden Lights expansion for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, The Pokemon Company also launched their latest Spring 2018 Tins. As with all Pokemon tins, this set comes with 4 booster packs - one from the Crimson Invasion expansion, and three others form earlier expansions - and a special holograph card.

The latest expansion for the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon set of the Pokémon Trading Card Game launched today at retail. The new expansion builds off the Prism Star game mechanic introduced in the last expansion. Brand new Pokémon Tins, starter decks, and booster packs are available now, and we have a bunch to review!

Thanks to our wonderful friends over at the Pokémon Company, we were given the wonderful opportunity to review the latest expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card game, Pokémon Sun & Moon: Ultra Prism. The set not only includes 150 cards to add to your collection, but it also introduces 6 Prism Star cards that brings a new gameplay element to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The next expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game launches today, and we are really excited about it. Thanks to our friends at the Pokémon Company, we were able to check out some of the Burning Shadows product a bit ahead of launch, and showed off a number of the cards via my Twitter account! In May of 2017, the Pokémon Company released two new tins to add to the latest Guardians Rising expansion for Pokémon Sun and Moon. Called the Island Guardians Tins, each comes with 4 booster packs - two for Pokémon Sun and Moon: Guardians Rising, 1 for Pokémon Guardians, and a Steam Siege pack - as well as select Island Guardian GX cards. Regardless of which tin you choose to purchase, you will get a fantastic Pokémon in Tapu Koko-GX or Tapu Bulu-GX. What do we think of these cards, packs, and tins? Read below and find out!

We've recently being doing a lot of coverage around the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sun and Moon base set and expansions. After doing reviews for the 3DS titles last year, our readers began asking about the physical side of Pokémon, so we obliged. On the heels of Pokémon Sun and Moon: Guardians Rising, the Pokémon company will be launching the next expansion for the popular card game: Burning Shadows.

The Guardians Rising expansion for Pokémon Son and Moon has been a big hit at retail already, with many of the booster packs, decks, and Elite Trainer boxes becoming almost impossible to find. We've already unboxed and reviewed a number of packs earlier, so I hope you will check them out! While I will copy and paste a few of the Guardians Rising details here again, the majority of this review will be looking at the themed decks and how they play in a game!
