UFC 5 Review

UFC 5 is the latest installment in the popular Ultimate Fighting Championship video game series, and it has managed to elevate the franchise to new heights. Since there is a big lack of boxing games I was eager to give this a try to help quench that thirst.  And let me tell you, UFC 5 does not disappoint. EA Sports Gift Guide 2022

The yearly EA Sports releases are as predictable as santa coming down the chimney at Christmas to deliver gifts, but we’ve rounded up this years game with a bit of a blurb around our favourite aspects of each game! Let’s take a quick look at FIFA 23, NHL 23, and Madden 23! FIFA 23 isn’t doing a ton different from FIFA 22, and I think that will be a constant theme this year. That being said, FIFA 23 is still…

FIFA 22 Tutorial is Outstanding

When a tutorial is required, either for new players or because a new concept has been introduce into a game, so often companies use the most boring way to show off the new mechanic, or teach the controls. EA Access an Incredible Value

We've commented and reviewed EA Access before when the service first launched and Xbox Canada supplied us with a 12 month review code, but I've since let my membership with the program lapse, not because there wasn't value, but as a reviewer, much of what was available on the service I had already played and completed, and with so much work on my desk at any given time, going back to an older title isn't a luxury I can have. With the recent launches of Madden 18 and (soon) NHL 18, I re-up'd my service thanks again to Xbox Canada, and realized the immense ...

EA Won’t Make an NCAA Game in 2014, May Cancel Altogether

There’s some pretty big changes happening in the world of college football, and it’s already changing the world of video games as well. EA have today announced that they won’t be releasing an NCAA game in 2014, and that if things carry on the way they’re going, they may never release another NCAA game again. This has basically come about because the NCAA have set rules about how their players are portrayed, whilst those same players have little say in…
