When a tutorial is required, either for new players or because a new concept has been introduce into a game, so often companies use the most boring way to show off the new mechanic, or teach the controls. EA Sports has tried to do away with that type of crap, and instead have created a fantastic short story experience that walks players through the basics of running, passing, shooting and more, all set on the streets of Paris, and in the famous stadium of PSG!

Despite being a Canadian, and despite loving the sport of hockey, I took a break from the annual NHL EA Sports release for the 2018 iteration, and during a year heavy with impressive titles from developers across the industry, it didn't actually miss it that much. EA Sports has announced the full version of the title NHL 16 for Xbox One and PS4 while also announcing NHL Legacy Edition for Xbox 360 and PS3. While the 360 and PS3 versions will include the usual popular modes and same gameplay as they have always included in the NHL games, the Xbox One and PS4 versions will reinstate features that were missing from NHL 15.
