Its Still A Tomodachi Life

When Nintendo first announced Tomodachi Life for the 3DS, I thought it sounded goofy and didn’t think it would be my cup of tea. Then, I saw the Nintendo Direct focused on the game and I was sold. Because its…

LEGO Games can Draw Families Together

If you don't own a Nintendo system - and the if you don't and have a family, you should! - there are not a lot of titles that appeal to families. They are either to violent and graphic, or they are limited in what can be done locally. LEGO games continue to push against the current generation norm. Would it be hard for Travelers Tales to dump local multiplayer in favour of online multiplayer? Of course, but they haven't, and that means a lot to my family.

Were amiibo Cards a Bust?

When Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer launched alongside the new Animal Crossing amiibo cards, people were really excited. Based on my experiences going from retail store to retail store on launch day, stock was extremely limited. However, looking back, I'm beginning to wonder how popular these cards have become, or if rather, they are a forgotten thing of the past.

Dying Light: The FOllowing DLC Review

Dying Light came out and focused on running, climbing, and jumping. As you traversed the cityscapes and ran away - or towards - the undead, I never felt like I was being hampered in how I traversed the city. It worked, it was fun, and that was the point. It's all about the open fields surrounding the urban wasteland, and the coolest addition to Dying Light yet, your buggy.
