Lootaku May 2016 Unboxing

We have recently reached out to a number of subscription box companies - Loot Crate, Loot Gaming, 1 Up Box, Geek Fuel, and of course, Lootaku - and we will be reviewing each one, each month! Today, we are looking at the most expensive of all the boxes, Lootaku. Lootaku ships form Hong Kong and costs roughly 50 USD. The company promises premium items, which is why the box is a lot more expensive than the competitors. This month's theme was Marvel Avengers, and while I wasn't crazy about all the items in the box, I can see the value for huge superhero fans!

Gamertag on Xbox Live

Have you ever wanted a Gamertag on Xbox Live only to realize that someone already has it. What might infuriate you even more is figuring out that that person might not even be an active Xbox Live user anymore. Some of those Gamertags are about to change. As reported by Major Nelson on his twitter account, Microsoft is set to rerelease over a million stale Gamertags.

Nintendo Movie coming to the Big Screen

Why not make a movie? That is probably what Nintendo said many, many times in the past, but now it is becoming a reality. In an interview, Nintendo announced that they were well on their way yo creating a cinema quality movie based on Nintendo properties. What properties they choose, however, will remain a mystery, at least for now.

Comment Sections on New Reviews Should be Closed

Eight out of ten. How dare they! I've seen a few Uncharted 4 reviews pop up with scored of 80%, 8/10, 80/100 - however you want to quantify it. And the comment sections lit up.

Disney Art Academy Launches May 13

The Art Academy franchise has been a successful one, making even the most reluctant artists into famous artists! Ok, not really, but the series has opened up the world of art to many individuals who might not have otherwise. This is private, and frankly, at 29.99 it is fairly cheap. No brushes, no pencils, and no paint. This will be the cheapest art kit you will ever buy!

Battleborn Review in Progress: Singe Player

After playing through the Prologue of Battleborn, I was fairly excited for what the game, on a single player level, might be able to offer. As with all online centered titles, it is often hard to create an enjoyable single player experience. I often find that you are damned if you do, and damned if you don't. Gearbox fell into this trap and ends up taking a lot of heat, probably causing the developers to thing, "Was it worth it?"

Obligations to Employees: Lionhead Studios

In a new report out of the UK, Kotaku cited a few sources who claim Microsoft had suitors lined up to purchase the Fable IP, and perhaps, keep the studio itself open. However, these reports claim that Microsoft rejected the offers, opting to protect their own IP, perhaps for future development. The question needs to be asked though, does Microsoft have a moral - not legal - right to those employees to do their best to keep them employed? It's a thought I've seen more than once since this report came out, but these criticism's are unfounded.

Neil Druckmann Details Uncharted Launch Today

In case you are still holding out hope, Neil Druckmann again has reiterated that today's release of Uncharted 4 will be the last Nathan Drake title ever released, at least under his watch. This was something made very clear in his opening statement to today's press release, posted on the Playstation US blog.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Starters Unimpressive

In a video put out by Nintendo today, Pokemon fans got their first look at the new starter Pokemon for Sun and Moon which are due out later in 2016. Personally, I'm not a fan of any of them - the look, not the types - but perhaps will be surprised. We have put the video at the bottom of this article.

Battleborn Review in Progress: Multiplayer Mayhem

We recently began working on our Battleborn review, and the prologue got us really intrigued for what more we could get out of this multiplayer focused game. Instead of plowing through more of the campaign, we jumped online to see what multiplayer offerings were to be had. While Battleborn lacks a variety of common online modes, the 3 available game types are varied enough to keep you playing for hours on end. Unfortunately, the game would probably perform better in a 3rd person view rather than a 1st person view, but its not an option given to you. This is insanely unfortunate, as all our issues with Battleborn online center around this common problem.
