Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a hit! Nintendo has released early sales figures for the game and has said that it is the fastest selling game in the Mario Kart franchise. We at GamesReviews.com feel pretty confident in the following statement: very few people realized Mario Kart 8 on Wii U had an acceleration problem, but yet will be relieved to hear it has been fixed in the Deluxe edition on the Nintendo Switch. When Mario Kart 8 came out a few years ago on Wii U, Nintendo YouTube ambassador Abdallah - who is a big friend of the site - posted a video to his YouTube page regarding an issue with the acceleration numbers when selecting karts.
