Why “Officially Licensed” Matters

Right around the time of the Nintendo Switch launch, you will remember the reedit post from dBrand claiming that ALL skins put on a Nintendo Switch product would ruin the Switch itself. Through some testing of our own - as well as some very informative videos from Performance Design Product - it was shown that this wasn't the case all the time. PDP prides themselves on producing officially licenced products from gamers around the world, and if this scenario taught me anything, it was that "Officially Licenced" really does matter.

LEGO City Undercover Rerelease Is Too Fun to Pass On

When we first looked at LEGO City Undercover in 2013, we called it one of LEGO's best games ever, especially since, unlike other LEGO franchises - it didn't actually have any source material. It couldn't bank on the Harry Potter or Star Wars names; it had to stand on it's own, really only using the LEGO City licence to attract potential players. In other words, you’ll be able to join Chase’s mission to track down Rex Fury no matter what system (or PC) you own! I was a huge fan of Lego City Undercover on the Wii U. Not only does the game have a huge city for players to explore, but there’s tons of costumes, vehicles, and more to…

Nintendo Switch: One Month Later

It's been one entire month since the Nintendo Switch launched, and if my Twitter newsfeed is anything to go by, almost everyone who loves video games, is playing the Switch. I remember when the Wii U launched: complaints over the battery in the gamepad, a lack of titles to play, and even the talk of third party supporters dropping out early. The same cannot be said for the Switch, and that is great news for everyone!

Snake Pass Review on Nintendo Switch

Although Snake Pass will be available on a variety of platforms, I've noticed that the Switch version seems to be getting the most love on the Internet. I think this is for good reason, as Snake Pass is a great game to take on the go, as it feels more like a mobile launch than a full fledge console title.

New Frontier Days Review

There aren't a lot of games available right now on the Nintendo Switch, and even less selection when you begin breaking down the categories by genre. It seems that New Frontier Days might be the first city simulation game to market, and that could bode well for the company when it comes to sales.
