Explorers Board Game Review

Simple roll-and-write games, flip-and-write games, etc. are a dime a dozen it seems. Some are really good, others are really bad, and most hover in that middle category of just being OK. After playing it multiple times over the past few weeks, I'm glad it is in my collection.

Viticulture is easily one of the best games available. Not the best in its genre, not even the best from Stonemaier. One of the best period, and there is a reason for it. The game is so smooth, is easy to understand, and can be tackled in a bunch of different ways, with each person who chooses a different path to victory having an equal shot at winning. This is not a one-way-to-win experience, but rather one that requires some…

We’re another step closer to Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision after Saudi Arabia regulators pushed the deal through. And while that might seem like a small step in the grand scheme of things, it is the first of a raft of approvals that are likely to arrive in the coming weeks.
