When searching for inspiration, you can look anywhere. A glance out the window could give you a story, a character, a setting and more. Reading about real locations and fantasy ones can help you come up with something right for you. Music, art, literature, games, film, design and more can inspire your own music, art, literature, games, film and design. Top 3 Reasons to get a BlackBerry Motion This Holiday Season

When you mention to people that you are reviewing a BlackBerry device in late 2017, it will likely shock a lot of people. In terms of cellphones, the once dominate brand of BlackBerry doesn't carry the same weight it use to. Although the last few cellphone releases from this company haven't been the homerun BlackBerry was hoping for, they've really stepped up their game in 2017 with the release of the BlackBerry Motion and the BlackBerry KEYone. Both phones are bringing better than average components at a fairly cheap price, when you compare them to other ...

Here’s Why Gaming’s Good for Your Life

Gaming’s had a pretty bad wrap for a pretty long, what with all the stuff back in the day about it inspiring kids to turn into raging psychopaths, down to the more generic “gaming makes you a shut in nerd” stereotype from more recent times. Image via Flickr Today, with big consoles ruling the world and eSports taking off in various places, everyone’s been getting in on the action, which means no one’s likely to give you a dirty look…

More Thoughts From Me #99: Square Enix Brings An Old Skool RPG to the Switch

Where is that Virtual Console Nintendo? A lot of people keep wondering when (and how) Nintendo bring a Virtual Console to the Switch. It would be really nice to play some old Nintendo games on the system. Square Enix isn’t waiting on Nintendo though. Here are my…

Achievements and Trophies Why We Want Them

Today’s video games are defined by achievements, accomplishments, and more. Whether it is achievements points like are dolled out on the Xbox One, or trophies on the PlayStation 4, people want to be rewarded for their accomplishments in games. While some companies – namely Nintendo – haven’t jumped onto this bandwagon yet, others have, including Google and Apple, through their mobile gaming platforms. People want to feel like they are accomplishing something, and most games today give them that satisfaction.…

Get to the Fallout Shelter: A Preview of 60 Seconds for Nintendo Switch

Long ago, in a galaxy not so far away (the United States), people thought that the atomic bomb would drop on them at any second. So some of those people built fallout shelters. This is something that really happened. However, the bomb never dropped in the U.S. In the video game 60 Seconds for the Nintendo Switch though, the atomic bomb will hit in…you guessed it…60 Seconds. And so as the head of the household its your duty to grab…

Xbox One X Coverage: ARK: Survival Evolved Looks Fantastic

I've been a long-time fan of ARK: Survival Evolved, and when Xbox released users statistics for 2017, it was no surprise to me that ARK was my most played game this year. The big draw to me for ARK is the gameplay, being able to jump into a game with friends, building crazy structures, taming a legion of dinosaurs, and exploring a huge open world is more important to me than graphical superiority. For the longest time - especially when the game was still in early access - it didn't look great, and at times, it handled even worse. Over this weekend I loaded up ...
