GDC is here, and so are the announcements. Sony has dropped an early bomb laying out the pricing for its new virtual reality device that is set to launch in October of this year. For 549.99 CAN, 399.99 USD, the new headset can be yours. From the press release:

When watching trailers and preview videos for We are the Dwarves on Steam, it was really hard not to get excited. It looked great, the game play was incredibly attractive, and despite a failed Kickstarter campaign, general hype was pretty high. So why then does it fall so flat? You have to think it was going to happen eventually, but in my opinion, I thought that this would have come as one of the two console giants began to struggle. However, I think Microsoft gets the extra boost of credit as it appears as if they are reaching out to Sony to make this happen. One of the first games to get this treatment: Rocket League.

A few weeks ago I got a code for the Xbox One preview of The Solus Project. Since it is in Xbox One Preview program, I'm holding final judgement until the game is 100% finished. Gameloft is known for making some pretty sweet games, but also for making some duds. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is officially on three consoles: the Nintendo GameCube, The Nintendo Wii, and the Nintendo Wii U.
